August Update - 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In August we celebrated Faith's eighteenth birthday with cake, cards, gifts, and prayer for her.

We had a 5.1 magnitude earthquake in August. The whole house was shaking back and forth, but it sustained no damage. Most people in our area probably didn't sustain much damage, if any. Thank the Lord for His protection.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in five nations including Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the United Arab Emirates.

Grace in Uganda

Len received the following email from brother Grace in Uganda, who is a pastor there and in his third year of DTS training now. He wrote:

"Hi dear brother Len,

I give God the glory for what He is doing to change lives through DTS! I have been going through the 'Garments of Godliness' in this semester. This has coincided with our prayer and fasting plan. Just a week a go the Lord guided us to pray and fast for six days in the area of purity as intercessors. In the process the Lord removed our old clothing and replaced with very white garments. Some days during prayer, the Lord appeared standing in our midst with a very white robe. We have had a wonderful time and experience with the Lord this one more time.

We thank God for what He is doing through DTS;  I do share DTS teachings and testimonies with the brethren here and our lives are changed.

Praise the Lord for that amazing testimony. He and his family recently moved from Lirat o Soroti, Uganda, where they plan to start a healing and deliverance ministry. Let's pray that they are successful in doing so.

Humphrey in Uganda

Len also received the following emails from Humphrey in Uganda, another pastor there who is in his first quarter of DTS:

"Greetings brother Len,

Hope this finds you well and your loved ones too. I must confess that it is  a very enriching experience so far so good. The materials of DTS has given me a redefining moment in my Christian walk and ministry .My perspective about God has completely shifted positively.I am glad that I have finally collided with the awesome truth I have been craving for.As I read the material ,every page drips with truth and fresh revelation that engraves a Divine mark on my heart -it is a true embodiment of truth.I am glad that I am being fully grounded, equipped,established and coming to full knowledge through DTS.

If it were not for LTG tool, I don't know where the Ugandan Churches would in this nearly six months of church lockdown more so our church . Churches are still in lockdown, but we meet in homes using the LTG system of meeting two-by-two, and this makes me to believe you are a God-sent man at such  unprecedented times when things are hard. I  want to conclude that if he restrictions are lifted by the government, please come  and pay a visit to us, as we  plan to mobilise more students.

Cynthia in Kenya

Sister Cynthia in Kenya, who is currently in her First Year Second Quarter of DTS, wrote:

"Praise Jesus. I bless the Lord for you. I pray that your family is safe and fine. I thank God that despite of everything and all the economical shifts in the business world. The Lord has still sustained me at my work place and be able to achieve all the set targets. This is my testimony, brother Leonard.

God Bless you all."

We're thankful to God for His provision in Cynthia's life, and for the fact that she has started an LTG.

John in Nigeria

Brother John from Nigeria also gave God the glory as well. He wrote:

"The series of this course work has taught me a lot in this second quarter of my third year. Right now I am trying to see how I [can] channel myself from self-confidence to confidence in the Lord, stop trusting in man, and trust in God alone. I also learnt that there is beauty in brokenness as it releases a beautiful fragrance in the presence of the Lord. I think I should try as much as possible to love the process of brokenness, if it is for the Lord or caused by the Lord. The series taught me about obedience to the Lord which is not optional. I am motivated that God does use weak things to carry out His purposes (e.g., whenever I think of where He drew me from). From the teachings in this quarter, I am trying to be careful about worldliness, avoid the self help gospel, self help religion, and to love suffering as a believer in Christ provided it brings glory to my God. I am helped by the book by Bro. Sadiq Ibrahim (with Dr. K.N. Stewart) Walking in God’s Perfect Will (Including an end-time vision of the Rapture and experience in Hell). [There are] many more testimonies I would have love to share, but in all, God is with me."

It's always great to get that kind of feedback and see how the Lord is using the DTS to equip our students for works of service.

Shadrach in Nigeria

Speaking of works of service, brothers John and Shadrach, who are LTG partners, organized a three-day, evangelistic outreach to Calabar where they live, in which they preached the gospel. Here is the report from John on the results of that outreach:

"The crusade was successful. We used a movie titled 'Eternity So Near' as a tool to gather people. As they gathered the first night, we showed part of it, and we preached the message of salvation to them. Many of them responded to the altar call that first day. We completed the movie the second day, and preached to them about the Cross and its meaning. Saturday was the last day, which we used for prayers, after which we asked those that responded well to meet every Sunday [at] 5 PM for a discipleship class. We assigned a brother who hosted us to assist them in the training, who himself is a discipline of Brother Gbile Akanni. One of [those who responded to the gospel] has been calling me from there, sharing testimony of his change life."

Praise the Lord for such wonderful results from the crusade in Calabar.

Len also received the following testimony from Shadrach who stated:

"Good evening brother Len, I really want to testify [of] what God is doing in my life through the LTG. The LTG has made evangelism a lifestyle and commitment to bringing others to Christ has become a daily heart beat. God bless you and everyone in the DTS."

Len also received the following testimony from brother Charles, who is a pastor in Uganda, now in his third year of DTS training:

Greetings from Uganda. I hope everyone is okay.

Am writing this mail to thank God for the opportunity of being a student Disciple of Duolos Training School.

Am especially grateful to God for the LTG module. I must say that the Lord had spoken to you before hand that this program would be practical in times that we are leaving in today. The LTG groups has helped us as a ministry to be able to bring the members together to share the word of God and be encouraged.

Uganda currently is still under lockdown, churches are still closed and groups of more than five are not permitted. God surely knew that in 2020 a pandemic would make it not possible for Christians to gather, but we're grateful to God that through the LTG we are able to meet in smaller groups. Thank you brother Len for allowing God to use you for such a time as this.

Jouni in Finland

In June Len received an email from one of his readers in Finland named Jouni (YOO-nee) about how the Lord recently brought him back to Jesus after ten years of being away from God. He wrote:

"Hey Leonard,

I want to thank you so much for your blogs that you have written. They have been of paramount help of growing in faith. The path to salvation is narrow! Thank you so much for all the work you've put in for the kingdom of God.

I'm located in Finland and I'm seeking God's will in my life. The Lord pulled me back in his mercy after I left my faith for a period of about 10 years.

Afterward as Len prayed with him on the phone, he received deliverance, as well as the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire. Praise the Lord!

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in five nations including Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the United Arab Emirates.

Humphrey in Uganda

A new student in Uganda named brother Humphrey, who is a thirty-seven year old pastor there in Lira, enrolled in our DTS in June. He came to know Christ twenty-one years ago in 1999 while he was in high school. He said, "Then I was in high school. A team of Evangelists came to our collage to evangelize. That is where I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior." He enrolled in the DTS "To be equipped for the work of ministry." After he began his training, he wrote:

Dear Brother Len,

Hope the Lord has kept you well. I have intentionally and comprehensively read the materials. I must confess that they are very enriching and am very sure is going to give me a redefining moment in my ministry, and reorient my perspective about God.

It is also worth commending that true transformation, as apostle Paul talked of in Romans 12:2, spins on the axis of right knowledge. I am glad that I have collided with the right knowledge I have been craving for.

Your materials are a true embodiment of the truth. Every page drips with truth and fresh revelation
that engraves a Divine and Eternal mark on the heart of the reader with greater depth in the word that leaves a new creation in Christ learned, grounded, established, and holistic.

June Update -- 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Len and Jennifer

Family: In May and June the children continued with homeschool studies despite the fact that public schools are all closed for the rest of the year due to the lockdown. As you know from our previous newsletters, they have done quite well in school as evidenced by their standardized tests at the end of each year. In fact, although the state here has waived the requirement for schools to administer such tests due to covid, we are going to be doing them anyway.

Meanwhile, a liberal conference called Homeschooling Summit: Problems, Politics, and Prospects for Reform that was scheduled to take place at Harvard University from June 18-19, 2020 has been postponed due to covid. We have read an article by the conference organizer, and it is obvious that she knows very little about homeschooling, yet she is spreading misinformation and disinformation about it with the apparent aim of discrediting it and banning it. In fact, the description of the conference on their website deceptively states that they will convene so-called experts on homeschool, such as attorneys and professors at this private, invitation-only event, for the purpose of "child advocacy." They state: "The focus will be on problems of educational deprivation and child maltreatment that too often occur under the guise of homeschooling, in a legal environment of minimal or no oversight."

As we said, their ultimate goal is to ban homeschooling, taking away our legal rights to do so in this country, or at least to make the government requirements such that it will be impossible to conduct such a program in good conscience, so we ask you to join us in praying that they will not achieve their goal, and that they will be thrown into confusion, since their intentions are not actually in the best interests of children. This is a work of the enemy. Pray that their deception will be exposed, that they will not accomplish their goals, that their efforts would be derailed, and that it will be obvious to everyone that they are not proclaiming the truth about homeschooling.

Last but not least, Charity recorded a video of her testimony about a dream she had of the rapture eight years ago almost to the day. The very brief video (less than 2 minutes long) has received over a thousand views already in just a short time. We hope you will take a moment to view it, and we think you'll be encouraged if you do. Here is the video for your encouragement, which was actually a confirmation of a rapture dream Len had on the same exact day in 2012. You can read about Len's dream here.

She also replied on Twitter to a comment about modesty made by a born again sister in Christ named Ashley, who was delivered from New Age religion. Ashley's comment that she retweeted accurately stated: "Many women long so much for a man's love and attention, so they dress immodestly by showing off more of their body—but they don't realize that the attention they get is the wrong kind and has nothing to do with love...Which is what they truly want." And Charity had replied, "So true! Dressing immodestly is also not loving your neighbor." Charity's simple reply received a great deal of attention most of which was negative, including people attacking her verbally for it. The harsh criticism against her for making that comment goes to show that the devil hates modesty and anyone openly supporting it is dangerous to him. As sister Ashley had also correctly stated: "Men should be able to have a safe place at church, but many women dress immodestly at church. The safe place of God's house has now become an arena of temptation." For more on this, please see Len's article from eight years ago called Garments of Godliness.

Christine in Uganda

In May another student from Uganda enrolled in the DTS. Her name is Christine and she has been saved for thirty years now and has received the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Here is the reason she gave for enrolling:

"I want to enroll for a DTS so that I can get to know God more, walk with Him always and learn how to make Him known to other people effectively." Please join us in praying that the Lord will accomplish her goal through our training.

Len received an email from brother David in Nigeria, a former DTS student. Although he suspended his training with us about two years ago at the end of his second year of DTS, he has continued to meet in a Life Transformation Group (LTG) with the same two brothers he has met with for a few years now. He shared the following testimony about how he and the members of his LTG had agreed together to read through the Bible in one year, and they not only accomplished their goal, but went beyond that and again read six books of the New Testament. Here is his testimony:

"Good evening Bro Len,

How are you doing and your family?

David in Nigeria

I like to share with you testimony of what the Lord has been doing in our LIFE TRANSFORMATION GROUP (LTG).

The Lord helped us to be able to read the Entire Bible (From Genesis to Revelation). Plus [afterward we again read] the Four gospels (Mathew, Mark, Luke, John), Acts and Jude in our LIFE TRANSFORMATION GROUP (LTG).

We started the Bible plan last year June with the Vision of Reading through the Bible. God gave us the grace to do that, and even included [reading a second time through] 6 books of the New testament as listed above. We finished it on Thursday, 21st May 2020. Our appreciation goes to God our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ which is our hope. We thank God also for using your Life to bless us.

Praise the Lord for helping David and his LTG partners to read through the whole Bible and continue with their LTG during their medical school training. Please pray for the Lord to help brother David to complete his second year of DTS and resume his training with us very soon.

Collete in Kenya

Len received the following email from sister Collete in Kenya, who is a recent graduate of our DTS:

"Dear brother Leonard,

Sorry for my long silence. Many things have passed so fast.

I hope the family and you are in good health. As soon as I came from the village after dropping my mum I had another fall on my back in the bathroom. Glory to God I was not fractured this time only I had terrible pain. I went to the hospital and was to return a week after for check up.

Unfortunately the appointment was cancelled because of covid 19. God is gracious though, [and I'm] walking with the crutches. I am getting better.

Thank you you for sending my certificate. I also thank God for this lockdown it has help have quality time with Him and also evangelise through the social network.

I am grateful for the months newsletter and thank God for preserving the jobs of [your] girls at the time when many have lost their jobs all over the world.

The problem is more profound in Africa with shortages of basics like food and no salary. I saw in the [May] newsletter my brothers from Uganda remarking their concerns. We can only pray and leave all in the mighty hand of our Creator. He promised never to abandon us or leave us.

My plan to move to the village and team up with my brother for souls to Christ. I am just waiting for some financial resources. I believe it shall come to pass at the right time.

More DTS Testimonies

Charles in Uganda

In June, Len received the following encouraging email from brother Charles, one of our DTS students who is a pastor in Uganda. He stated in part:

"The Church here in Uganda is experiencing a total lockdown. Am very grateful, brother Leonard, for introducing us to the LTG. If it were not for the LTG system of learning, the church would be scattered. Thank you so so much for the LTG. Am more than grateful to God I met you.

The only challenge here is that life has become very difficult financially, the family is big. [There is a] demand from Church members for food items, but the churches are still closed. Continue praying with us that God brings us strong. God bless you."

We are certainly grateful that the Life Transformation Groups required by the DTS are serving such an important role in keeping the church there from being scattered, and we praise God for that. However, according to what we have learned from brother Charles and other DTS students in Uganda, it has become clear that the adverse effects of the lockdown in their country are so terrible that it has become a real humanitarian crisis. There are only 694 reported cases of covid in their entire country (only 15 people per million) and absolutely no deaths due to it, yet they have been on government-mandated lockdown for months, unable to work (except for essential services), provide for their families, or meet for worship. Of course, the pastors in our DTS like Charles depend on support from their churches and that has been disrupted due to the lockdown and related unemployment of the people in their congregation. As he stated, they have large families. For example one of our students has seven children. Charles mentioned that he visited one brother there who had gone without any food for three days, who was sitting in his home sipping a cup of tea.

Len wrote to their President about this matter, but to no avail. As many doctors here in the US have decried, this is the first time in history that we have quarantined all the well people. Normally it is only the sick who are quarantined. This lockdown has absolutely no medical basis, and it is doing far more harm than the problem it is supposedly trying to solve. Please pray that the lockdown in Uganda will end and that the Lord will provide for all those suffering hunger and deprivation because of it, especially the Christians, who are being spiritually deprived of public worship and fellowship.

We have created a new volunteer role of DTS National Facilitator to assist us in the administration of our school internationally, as well as to facilitate the DTS students in each of the several countries with their training. Due to the difference in time zones, the cost of long distance international calls, and the technical barriers with international mobile phone text messaging, it is necessary to have a National Facilitator within each country to maintain contact with the students. The volunteer position will be fulfilled by DTS graduates of ours whom we appoint, who wish to serve in this way.

Each National Facilitator is responsible under our direction to maintain regular periodic contact with all students within their country, in order to check up on their progress and hold them accountable. The Facilitators determine if the student has any questions about the coursework and escalate those to us as needed. They also encourage our DTS students and either assist in removing any obstacles to progress if possible, or bring those to our attention. They will also provide Len with weekly updates on the students in their country. Sister Sherry in the United Arab Emirates has already accepted the role of DTS Middle East Regional Facilitator. Brother Deji has accepted the role of DTS National Facilitator for Nigeria.

May Update -- 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In May we celebrated Christopher's fifteenth birthday with cake, gifts, cards, prayer, and some good fellowship. From April until early May, Charity and Hope remained unemployed and we all remained under our governor's stay-at-home orders here in North Carolina. The girls were finally recalled to work in May at the restaurant where they had previously been employed before almost all employees had been laid off due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile Charity has taken this opportunity with the down time to write her testimony of how she came to Christ. It's called Lifted Out of a Slimy Pit. She also wrote some poems as well called Battle of the Mind and Take Two.

As with the rest of the world, our students in Africa and the Middle East remain on lock down, too. They cannot go to work and are only allowed to go out for essentials like food and water. Pray for the Lord to take care of them, keep them safe, and provide for them.

Brother Favour from Nigeria wrote in May:

"Good morning sir, from Nigeria,

It have not been so easy in the midst of this lockdown but I thank God for his grace and mercy  upon me, it have not been easy for me to receive mails or go online since these days but I thank God because he provides for me. So I'm back online now."

Brother John in Nigeria wrote in May:

"Bro Len, I must tell you that it is not easy here with us. People are lamenting everywhere, hunger and food shortage is rising. I pray God should help us."

Brother James in Uganda wrote:

"We are highly affected by food shortage, rent of our house. Life is just very hard for us in Uganda. They have added more 2 weeks of lockdown. Thank you.

Brother Jimmy in Uganda says:

"We are faced with lock down, and food is now becoming a hard thing to get, because of the little resources that we have. And if there was opportunity of support, we would cry for support financially. The lock down is still to continue, yet the government has not taken proper measures for supporting the citizens -- only 3 kilograms of beans and 5 kilograms of maize flour were given to some people, which is not enough for 3 months of lock down. I look forward to receiving any support from any willing body. Be blessed, and above all I do not forget our Lord Jesus Christ is still on the throne.

Brother Grace in Uganda says:

"Greetings brother Len in Jesus' Name!

My brother, since the lock down happened here, life has become too difficult for the majority, especially in urban places; no working, no salaries! Personally we have been depending on jewelry, which is no more, because customers are no more earning, some displaced. So like many others, [we are] just depending on porridge whenever we can afford [it]; we need much prayers, this is unbearable!! May the Lord remember us and all.

Rose in Kenya

In May, a new student enrolled in our DTS named Rose from Kenya. She has been saved for five years and she stated her reason for enrolling like this: "By God’s grace I am a praise and worship leader. I want to acquire knowledge to serve God. Given an opportunity, by the end of this course, I believe in God that I will be impacted to change lives and be a blessing in the body of Christ." Praise the Lord for bringing her into our midst. Let's agree together with her for the Lord to fulfill her goal through this training. We look forward to serving her over the next three years.

Len wrote an article on God's purpose through this called Stay at Home and Seek the Lord, which is worth a read. In the meantime, we held a global prayer meeting on April 27th, and the Lord confirmed it supernaturally through one sister who participated. She wrote afterward about what the Lord showed her in a vision:

"Dear brother in Christ! I live in San Antonio, TX - so I prayed at 10:00 am today and just finished my prayers!!! And I would like to share with you what happened during this global prayer meeting!  As you know brother I have awake visions during my prayers to Christ- So this is what I experienced.... Once I started praying- I experienced great visions from our Lord Jesus! And felt the Holy Spirit greatly!!! Our Lord Jesus showed me holy writers in Heaven writing down this event - Letting me know that this prayer event was very important!!! The Lord Jesus showed me many lighted candles  during our prayers - letting me know that many that have our candle burning bright are praying to Him and He is listening!!!! Also before ending our prayer meeting, I saw many lamps with oil- And the the lamps that I saw in my vision were very old oil lamps from a long time ago- not the oil lamps of today. The Lord is letting us know that our lamps are lit and full of oil... Dear brother - Yes indeed this global prayer meeting did have the holy anointing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus and He did hear our prayers and it is written... I pray that you will find these words encouraging and thank you for inviting everyone to this very important global prayer meeting!" Praise the Lord for this vision.

April Update -- 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In March and April, we have been on stay at home orders from our governor, as most everyone else in the world has been. Charity and Hope were laid off from work, and Len is anticipating a substantial loss of revenue in his employment due to the economic shutdown. Please pray the Lord will provide, which we are trusting Him to do in the midst of this worldwide economic turmoil. We know that you and all of us are being affected, and some very severely. It's time to draw near to God and look up, for our redemption draweth nigh.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in five nations including Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the United Arab Emirates.

As with the rest of the world, our students in Africa are on lock down, too. They cannot go to work and are only allowed to go out for essentials like food and water. Pray for the Lord to take care of them, keep them safe, and provide for them.

March Update -- 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In March, we celebrated Len's fifty-fourth birthday with cake, cards, and prayer. Several in the family had a pretty severe cold flu virus, which had some of them laid up in bed. Most of them are completely over it, except Charity and Joseph.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in five nations including Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the United Arab Emirates.

Joshua in Ghana

In March, we had another new student enroll and begin training with us. His name is Joshua from Ghana, and we look forward to serving him over the next three years. He was raised in a Christian family, but eleven years ago he repented of His sins and was baptized at age fifteen. He was referred to us by one of our students in Nigeria named Daniel. He enrolled so that he can be equipped to reach unbelievers. Please join us in welcoming him and praying that the Lord will bless him richly in his training and truly equip him for works of service that God created him to do.

Rudiah in the UAE

Another new student enrolled in March and began her studies with us. Her name is Rudiah from Kenya, and she lives in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). She was referred to our school by one of our recent graduates, sister Sherry from Kenya, who also lives in the UAE. She got saved in 2007 at age twenty. She enrolled to learn more about Jesus and how to preach the gospel, because she realizes that these are the end times.

We also had another student from Kenya enroll in March named Moses, who is twenty-eight years old. He first came to Christ in 2001. He was referred to us by another of our student in Kenya named Peter, who is in his first year of training.

Grace in Uganda

He received a comment on his article called The Seven Seals Being Opened in Real Time from Grace in Uganda, who is a pastor there and one of our DTS students now in his third year of training with us. He stated: "Brother Len, I thank God for the teaching on the seven seals! It has changed my life and I am getting more prepared for His return. Just a week a go I dreamt of seeing [multi-story mansions] in space, so glorious, and the Lord standing by the door of a wonderful building. I saw the glorious saints entering, and I too entered. The glory thereof can not be explained in human words! We bless His Name for this!"

February Update -- 2020

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In February we celebrated Joseph's eleventh birthday with cake, cards, gifts, and prayer. On that same day, we also marked the thirty-fourth anniversary of Len's spiritual birth, which occurred on that same day in February 1986. We also had our twenty-third wedding anniversary and thanked the Lord for our marriage to one another.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in three nations including Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya.

Sherry in the Emirates

In February we held a graduation ceremony for our most recent graduate, sister Sherry in the UAE. Interestingly, she shared that she was born the same year that Len came to Christ.

On the conference call, besides the two of us, we were joined by all our children and brother Dave Wenrich, pastor of Boston Harbor Community Church and President/Treasurer of Doulos Missions International. We had fellowship, presented her with her diploma, worshiped together, giving God thanks and praise for helping her complete her training, and then we each prayed for her. It was a great time in the Lord's presence. She is a part of us and as with all our graduates, her ministry is an extension of ours. We are so happy for her being able to achieve this important goal. To God be the glory!

Len received the following email in February from brother Stephen in Nigeria, who is one of our DTS students:

Stephen in Nigeria

"Good day sir,

Trust you are doing great. My testimony is not directly related to DTS, but an experience that came with my walk with the Lord.

On December, 2019 I prayed asking the Lord what is his word to me in 2020 and beyond. The Lord directed me to read Mathew 1:21 and in our morning devotion, the Word came out loud and clear that God will be my Saviour this year.

By December 26 when I was traveling to pray on the mountain, I had a bike accident and God saved me true to his Word. I came out unhurt. How I escaped I didn't know. On January 16th, I had another bike accident, and God saved me too. Then on February 2nd, while traveling to another city, our bus tire burst on speed. Give thanks to God that the bus didn't somersault and plunge us into the bush. God saved us unhurt.

It is really amazing how God saved me within a month of facing [these] near death experience(s). God is ever faithful."

Hallelujah! Thank the Lord for sparing brother Stephen's life in those three life-threatening situations that all occurred in a little more than one month's time. What a wonderful Savior He is! When Len received this message from him, he had just finished giving a teaching on Matthew 1 right before he sat down to read the email, and the main point of his message was that Jesus is the only one worthy to be the King of the whole world.

Brother Stephen has temporarily halted his DTS studies until he finds an LTG partner. Please pray that he finds one soon, so he can resume his training with us.

Grace in Uganda

Len received the following email from brother Grace, one of our students who is a pastor in Uganda:

"Praise the Lord, dear brother Len! There have been several dreams and visions given to me by the Lord, but have chosen this recent one: I was seated and reading one of the books written by a famous gospel preacher whom the Lord has given the grace to reach out to Muslims. Immediately all of my mind changed when I heard a voice say: 'a minister's garment '.Then for some minutes the voice continued teaching me and saying, 'every minister of God has a garment.' Then he reminded me of Joshua when satan accused him of putting on a dirty garment, but the Lord told satan off when Joshua was given a clean garment. When a minister or a Christian is right before God he is seen in good garments and vice versa.

Dear brother Len, I will stop for now and want to say the Lord has blessed my life through these teachings. Blessings."

In February we received the following testimony from brother Peter in Kenya:

Peter in Kenya

"Hey brother Len,

Hope you are doing fine in the Lord. I thank God for the much wisdom and knowledge acquired this far. I delved myself deeper on the topic of asteroids, tsunamis, nuclear program, and earthquakes, and I came to realize that God in heaven is giving us the last chance before God wraps up everything.

There's something that started recently in Kenya, and that is the infestation of locusts. It has become a huge problem for the government, because they haven't found any solutions for the same. It's until, the United Nations has decide to give a helping hand, because all the insecticides used [thus far] have had no effect. It has left me wondering, as they have been jumping from county to county feasting on anything green. And as we are talking right now, it is has moved on to our neighbouring country Tanzania.

This made me realize that sometimes God releases judgement because he knows the extent of our sins as individuals or as a nation.

I also, had a [look at Dumitru] Duduman's prophecies, and for sure much of them have been fulfilled as far as USA is concerned! Initially, I have been trying to understand the book of Daniel and Revelations, thinking that maybe these are things that are to take place in the distant future, when, in fact, are taking place during our days!

This is knowledge that's very practical and its a warning to us and this generation."

The news reports say this is the worst locust plague Africa has seen in seventy years. These swarms are the size of big cities. In one day, a swarm this size can devour the same amount of food as the entire population of Kenya. According to an expert, it can devour the same amount of food in one day as all the people in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. Obviously this is threatening the crops of the countries in Africa that are being affected by the plague, which include Kenya and Uganda, where we have students located (see here). Reports says the swarms can grow to 500 times their current size by June. Let's pray for the Lord to protect our DTS students, who are all in these countries, and keep them from the devastating effects of this plague that endangers their food supply.
