June Update -- 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In May, we celebrated Christopher's high school commencement with worship; a formal ceremony, at which Len shared some remarks; the presenting of Christopher's diploma to him; and prayer for him. We had several guests join us to celebrate with us, who were all children from one Christian family. They also stayed afterward for the party that included sandwiches, cake, and fellowship.

We're so pleased with the way Christopher has diligently applied himself to his studies and how the Lord has helped him to get straight A's in college, while also getting nearly perfect grades in high school. Praise the Lord!

Christopher is now seeking to find a job in IT Support. He also passed three big exams, in order to obtain his A+ certification in IT Technical Support, along with his Network+ and Security+ certifications, which are sought-after professional certifications. The exams he took in order to get these are known for being very difficult. Thank you to those who prayed for that. Please pray with us that he gets a good job in the IT field now, especially one that is either very close to home or working remotely from home.

The girls -- Faith, Hope, and Charity -- finally moved into their own apartment in early June. They feel so blessed and are very thankful to the Lord for their new place, as they begin this new chapter in their lives. Thank you to those who prayed about that. Please pray that the Lord will provide all the furniture they need, such as a dining set and desks.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its eighth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in five nations including Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, South Sudan, and the United Kingdom.

Len received the following testimony in June from brother Martin, one of our DTS students, who is a pastor in Uganda with a vision for taking the light of Christ to the community:

"Hello brother Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I want to appreciate you for the work you are doing in bringing the bible knowledge through DTS to me and to those who are also still searching to know the true word of God.

I thank God for that. You are one of the instruments that God is using to enlighten those who are still under the bondage of false doctrine like those who have misinterpreted the word of God and refuse to accept the facts.

I thank God for allowing me to be part of your DTS as well through LTG. Glory be to God forever and ever!

Praise the Lord! To God be all the glory. Brother Martin is now in his Second Year Third Quarter, and he is serving the Lord at a refugee camp there in Uganda, reaching people for Jesus.

In June, Len received the following testimony from brother Henry in South Sudan, who is one of our DTS students there and a pastor:

"I have been conducting our LTG meetings weekly and by the grace of God our numbers have increased to now five LTG groups of three people per group, totaling fifteen members. We give all the glory to God."

Praise the Lord. That is the kind of multiplication of disciples we teach all our students to do, and it's so exciting when we see them putting it into practice in their own lives and ministries.

More DTS Testimonies

In May, Len received the following testimony from brother Tom in Uganda, who is one of our DTS students:

"Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

Concerning what you have written to me recently about Jesus film project,

We have trained many Christians in discipleship and yesterday we baptized 23 new church members. Next week we shall baptized more 20 members who are still undergoing discipleship. The twenty three people we baptized were saved as a result of the film shows. Still twenty more are going to be baptized the following week.

I have so far shown [the Jesus Film] over one hundred times since I [received] the equipment. Four more churches were opened as a result of the Jesus film. Praise the Lord.

We are going to have a mega crusade beginning Saturday next week. We hope to have several shows during the four days. We are planning to reach different camps this year.

Praise the Lord! Please see brother Tom's excellent testimony of the amazing miracles the Lord did through his Jesus Film Project ministry, in which he encountered intense spiritual warfare, whereby thousands were reached with the gospel and hundreds were saved. We would like to share a praise report regarding sister Catherine, who was a guest on the Randy Kay program, in which she shared her testimony, which you can watch at this link: Teen Dies and Enters Heaven After Encounter with Jesus, Angels, and others. Most of the comments on the Youtube video indicated that people around the world who watched the video were very blessed by her testimony, as well as the sweetness and joy of the Lord she exudes. We hope you will take time to listen to it.

Just recently she was traveling in York, England, and the Lord led her to touch someone's life in a way that will probably have far-reaching, eternal consequences. While she was in a coffee shop, the Lord told her to go over and speak to a woman who was sitting there, whom she didn't know. She didn't know what she would say, but began a conversation about grandchildren, and it led to Catherine sharing part of her testimony, including how the Lord rescued her from attempted suicide. The lady was grateful for that conversation, because she had been contemplating suicide and was on her way to visit her daughter for the last time before she ended her life. But this contact with Catherine seemed to give her renewed hope, as the lady said she could feel Catherine's peace. Praise the Lord!

Brother Peter in Kenya, who is one of our DTS students there, wrote to Len recently to let us know that his home burned to ashes in a fire, and he lost everything, but escaped with his life. Thankfully he was at work on his night shift when the fire happened, so he was not in the building, but all he owned was destroyed. The Lord has since provided him another place to live, and he has slowly begun to replace some of the things he lost. We had been praying that the Lord would provide him with a better job that would not take such a toll on his health as the nighttime security guard job he has, but it turned out to be a blessing that he had that job when the fire occurred, because it may have saved his life. Please remember brother Peter in your prayers for a complete restoration of all that he lost in the fire.

Brother Grace in Uganda, who is one of our graduates and our DTS Facilitator for his country, is in need of our prayers for his wife Dina, who has been hospitalized. Please pray for her complete healing and the Lord's provision for the medical expenses.

Likewise, brother and sister Ukauwa in Nigeria recently had a baby by Cesarean section (C-section) delivery on May 27th. The baby girl, named Miracle, was miraculously delivered four weeks before she was due, in order to reduce the risk to mother and baby in this high-risk pregnancy. Praise the Lord that mother and baby are well. Please pray that the Lord would provide for their medical expenses as well.

Sister Collete in Kenya, who is one of our DTS graduates, moved out of the old, sub par apartment she's been living in for a long time and into a better apartment, but is struggling financially to pay her rent. She needs the Lord to miraculously expedite the closing of an international business deal she is facilitating, which has been delayed excessively, so that she can pay her rent at the end of June.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in June to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

For the Lord to help Christopher to find an excellent, good-paying job in the IT field.

May Update -- 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In May, we celebrated Christopher's eighteenth birthday with cake, cards, gifts, and prayer for him. We also attended his college graduation ceremony at a huge coliseum here in town where he was awarded the certificate of completion for the Windows Desktop IT Support program. There were over six hundred other graduates. His high school graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 22nd, so please pray for the Lord's presence and good weather for that, so we can hold the event outdoors.

Christopher will now be seeking to find a job in IT Support and also looking to start his own business in that field. He is also taking two big exams in order to obtain his A+ certification in IT Technical Support. Please pray with us to that end for the Lord to grant him success in all these endeavors. His first of two exams will be Monday, May 15th.

The girls -- Faith, Hope, and Charity -- are planning and preparing to move into their own apartment in early June. Please pray that their move will go smoothly and that the Lord will help them get settled into their new place.

Len received the following testimony in April from brother Martin, one of our DTS students, who is a pastor in Uganda with a vision for taking the light of Christ to the community:

"Hello Brother Len,

“I greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Our reproduction as disciples begins by praying for the lost people we know around us such as (family, work, neighbor’s refugees’ community at the kiryandongo refugee camp in Uganda). So each member of the LTG shares the names of two or three people he or she knows that are not saved. And all the members of the LTG agree to pray throughout the week for those people by name.

As a result of LTG outreach in this month of April we baptized 22 new believers. Check attached photos taken during the baptism.

Praise the Lord for what He is doing in brother Martin's life. Let's pray for these new believers in Christ to grow and become true disciples of the Lord Jesus.

In May, Len received the following testimony from brother Ibrahim in Kenya, who is one of our recent graduates there:

"Dear Brother Len,

I have a testimony to share. It has been long since we spoke due to the fact that I have been working on a data collection project in Nakuru and Nyandarua Counties within Kenya which ended yesterday peacefully. The assignment was extremely involved, but I [endured] the cold of Nyandarua County due to the Aberdare Ranges and finished my work well. I thank God for that.

I would also like to share my testimony and say that I won a sponsorship to study Data Science at ALX Africa, which is a hybrid program, both online and two days weekly hub attendance being sponsored by Mastercard Foundation. It is my prayer and belief that I will be guided by the virtues I have learnt of humility and perseverance under DTS and complete this 14-month course. The congratulatory message came on 5th April, and the classes began this past week on Monday 8th May. I give all the glory and honor to the Lord. Kindly put me in your prayers as I tackle this new journey of my career and serve the Lord as I work.

Praise the Lord for giving brother Ibrahim this great opportunity to further his education in a way that could help him eventually obtain better employment. We also praise the Lord that on Sunday, May 14th, he received the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire. Let's pray that the Lord would help him in his studies.

More DTS Testimonies

In May, Len received the following testimony from brother Tom in Uganda, who is one of our DTS students:

"I salute all the brethren in the name of our Lord Jesus.

I give God all the glory for the marvelous things He has done to me personally and the entire ministry I run. It was on the 30th/April/2023 that I was ordained bishop of Doma Pentecostal Global Ministries.

Immediately after the ordination, I encountered a man who had a deadly disease called epilepsy. He had suffered for twenty-five years from this sickness. His parents had spent a lot of money in different hospitals but all in vain.

As soon as I laid my hand on him and prayed, he was delivered completely. All these long years he could not dig or do domestic chores, but now he can do everything.

Glory to this great God we serve."

Praise the Lord! We give God all the glory for this amazing healing.

In May, Len received the following testimony from sister Catherine in England, who is one of our DTS students there. She knows a sister in Christ named Gill, who was hospitalized around May 7th with a sudden case of gastroenteritis and a bad infection around her gallbladder, just as she was preparing to hold an evangelistic meeting that was scheduled for the end of May. Sister Catherine knew this was a direct attack of the enemy to try and stop the revival, so she decided to pray, and asked us to pray as well, which we gladly did. Here was her praise report:

"Dear brother Len and sis Jennifer.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. I have some great news.

Gill, the evangelist has been completely healed and the hospital have sent her home, so the conference will go ahead on 29th May, and her healing will be a witness to all the people. It's a Miracle. Our Lord is faithful and always answers prayers of his faithful people. Thank and praise our Lord.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. I am praying for you all.

Bless you all. With love in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Praise the Lord for answering the fervent prayer of faith for this evangelist.

Brother John in Uganda, who is one of our DTS students there, gave us an update in May on his long, drawn-out court battle with those who are attacking him. He said, "The file was and is still with the registrar of the High Court supposed to pass to the Judge for scheduling the day for judgment." Therefore, the judge still has not decided on the case, even though he was supposed to render his decision a month ago on April 7th.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in May to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

April Update -- 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: Overall, we are doing well as a family by the grace of God, despite numerous physical health challenges that some of us have had, and in some cases continue to have.

With the Lord's help, Len and the boys have been able to successfully complete a few very challenging home repair and appliance repair projects together recently. One of these included fixing some problems we were having with our old refrigerator. We are grateful to God for His help with those repairs. It saved us a lot of money that we would have otherwise had to pay a plumber and an appliance repairman.

In April, the girls got a substantial amount of costly maintenance done on their recently purchased, used car, including oil leaks fixed, along with power steering fluid leaks, as well as transmission service. Unfortunately they were unable to fix the AC leak, due to the high cost of that repair. Meanwhile a new issue has surfaced that they need to have repaired. So this has been a trial for them with their first car. We continue to hope and pray that they will soon have the vehicle running well.

In March, brother Tom, one of our third-year students in Uganda, sent Len the following testimony:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I am glad to share with you marvelous things the Lord is doing in my life.

Since I joined DTS, my life has never remained the same. First I was entrusted with the office of a ministry administrator. Secondly, with all the knowledge I acquired in DTS, I am now running a ministry in Uganda called Doma Pentecostal Global Ministries. My ordination as a bishop is postponed, but I will let you know when it is rescheduled.

With God's help, I hope to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Christ.

May everyone around the globe be blessed as you serve in His vineyard.

Len received the following testimony in March from brother Martin, one of our DTS students, who is a minister of the gospel in Uganda:

"Hello Brother Len,

“I really thank God for opening my spiritual eyes to understand that being a Christian is not a mindless experience, but involves knowledge and understanding. It means establishing a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, who came to bring us the knowledge of God that we are acquiring through the DTS.

As a result of our recent outreach, a Muslim girl gave her life to Christ.

However, later she shared with us that 'the journey from Islam to Christianity was never easy for a Muslims, especially within a community where there is a legitimate fear of being tortured and killed by family'; yet she dared to take that risk and put her life at risk for the love of Christ, sacrificing everything for Him.

She fled from her family and Muslim community, and lost her property, but she preferred to love Christ.

May God bless her and bring many other Muslims on the right path through her heart touching testimony, Amen”.

Praise the Lord for what He is doing in brother Martin's life. Let's pray for this Muslim girl named Shimla, for the Lord to bless her and bring other Muslims to Christ through her.

In March, Len received the following testimony from sister Rebecca in Uganda, who is one of our students there:

"Praise the Lord brother Len,

I am grateful to God that in this month I shared the gospel to three people who never responded immediately, but later on two gave their lives to Christ through my husband.

I also thank God for keeping us in Good health, especially the children, because some years ago they would often fall sick.

I also thank God for restoring my spiritual eyes, because there are things I see in the spirit, and they come to pass exactly as I saw them. May God help me to be what He wants me to be.

Glory be to God."

We give thanks and praise to God with sister Rebecca for the great things He is doing in her life and ministry.

More DTS Testimonies

In March we held a graduation ceremony for Brother Ibrahim in Kenya, who completed his three years of DTS training in February. We truly felt the presence of the Lord during the ceremony. Praise the Lord! He also has a testimony regarding God's provision of employment: He received a good job doing data collection for the government, which is a blessing, especially considering what he had been doing prior to that.

Brother John in Uganda is improving from his bout with malaria. Their long-awaited court hearing was held on March 31, and the judge was supposed to render his decision on the case on April 7, but that has now been delayed yet again.

In April, Len received the following testimony from brother Henry in South Sudan, who is a missionary there from Uganda and one of our DTS students:

"Dear brother Leonard,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It's a great pleasure to wish you a happy Easter and thanking our God for the gift of life to this day. I want to thank God for one family that accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as we were evangelizing throughout this week. The man had left the home but through prayers and counseling, they have reconciled and are living together happily. I give God all the glory.

Yours faithfully,

Bro Henry."

Hallelujah! What a wonderful testimony. Please remember brother Henry in your prayers, as he is serving in South Sudan among many dangers. In fact, for his safety, we cannot disclose what recently happened to him. May the Lord protect him and keep him safe as he labors in the vineyard there.

In April, sister Christine, who is one of our DTS students in Soroti, Uganda, sent the following testimony to Len:

"In our local church in Soroti, women were given a Sunday (March 19th) to minister. We had to prepare by having a [time of] prayer and fasting as women on Saturday, March 18th. The leadership of women in our local church chose me to lead the program in that prayer [time], and more so to lead in the Bible study. I am grateful to God for the grace, guidance, and wisdom He gave me to be able conduct the Bible study. This was possible also because of what I have learnt from DTS lessons and the confidence I have gained through my LTG meetings. Glory to God.

It's a joy for us to hear how the Lord has been using sister Christine in new and greater ways than ever before to edify and strengthen the Body of Christ.

In April, Len received the following testimony from brother Max in Uganda, who is one of our DTS students there:

"Praise the Lord bro. Len Yesterday the Lord gave us three more [new believers] in baptism "

We rejoice and praise the Lord for what He's doing in brother Max's ministry and all the souls who are coming into the kingdom through it. He testified that the revelation of the reality of heaven and hell as described by the various brethren in his current DTS studies, along with what he learned about the dangers of alcoholism, has changed his life. His wife, sister Rebecca (mentioned earlier), has also had great time with the Lord in her course.

March Update -- 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In March, we celebrated Len's fifty-seventh birthday with cake, cards, prayer, and a gift from the children that actually came in handy multiple times that very same day in an appliance repair in our home that Len was doing with the boys.

The girls continue to work at their jobs and share the Lord as they have opportunity. The Lord has given them favor with their employers, for which we are grateful. They also bought an older, high-mileage used car together recently, which needs a lot of costly repairs. They are working through all of the repairs, such as oil leaks, AC refrigerant leaks, and power steering fluid leaks, as well as transmission service, and hope to soon have the vehicle running well. We would appreciate your prayers to that end.

The boys continue with their home school education with Christopher finishing up his final year of high school, as well as his final college course in the IT Support certificate program at the local technical college. Please pray he will finish well in May.

In March, sister Catherine, one of our students in England, sent Len the following testimony:

"Dear brother Len and sister Jennifer,

I witnessed to a couple, David and Jane, last week. They talked about Evolution a lot, so I advised them to read the book, ' The Case For Christ,' by Lee Strobel. I sent them a copy of this book, and they are now keen to go to church, and want to meet for another discussion next week. So I continue to pray for their salvation.

I studied in the Christology II from year one fourth quarter again -- 'The Bodily Form of the Lord Jesus Christ,' which was awesome.

Thank you so much for the DTS, I have grown so much since I started these studies, and I know I will grow a lot more as I continue studying.

Len received the following email in March from brother John, one of our DTS students, who is a pastor in Uganda. He wrote:

"Dear Leonard,

Thank you for your considerations in the areas I did not do as I should do! My continuous approach to this DTS, is because of your mentorship spirit! Actually English is not our [native] African language, and therefore we do [make] errors sometimes in expressing a statement or explaining a point; but you have handled me well, with great understanding, [compared to] how other instructors do! That has helped me to improve my English expression and [continue] improving even more! I thought to share this as a testimony, of what I have received besides the many lessons learnt in this DTS. Please continue to pray with me for my mind to settle and my body to be free from infirmity, [as I am] slowly recovering from malaria. Amen.

Bro John Uganda"

Praise the Lord for what He is doing in brother John's life. Please pray with us for his complete healing from malaria. On another note, his court case was postponed yet again to March 30th. This has been a severe trial for him in which unfaithful brethren have filed two lawsuits against his church and are believed to be bribing the judge. It has dragged on for months, but now it is about to conclude. Please join us in praying for a great victory in Jesus' name for him.

In March, Len received the following testimony from brother Max in Uganda, who is one of our students there and a minister of the gospel:

""Praise the Lord brother Len, I rejoice in the Lord for ordering our steps in ministry work. Three more baptisms were done making it nine since the beginning of the year. This is encouraging to my soul to learn that the Lord Jesus is concerned for me to do more work.

Through DTS, the Lord Jesus is still at work in the sense that I for one have been transformed greatly in the area of the study of the Scriptures. My understanding of the interpretation of scriptures is getting more rooted to learn correctly, as well as to unlearn certain things I had previously Iearnt incorrectly.

The accountability in the LTG group meetings, having a neighbourhood brother in the heart for prayers etc is so effective.

May God uphold the DTS for the transformation of the world."

We give thanks and praise to God with brother Max for the great things He is doing in his life and ministry.

More DTS Testimonies

Brother Ibrahim in Kenya has now completed his three years of DTS training, and we will be holding a graduation ceremony for him soon. Praise the Lord! He also has a testimony regarding God's provision of employment:

I have been able to secure a short contract in the research field and I really thank God for this. He has been faithful all through. And also I am currently feeling much better after illness for like 3 weeks. All the glory and honor be God.

In March, Len received the following testimony from brother Grace in Uganda, who is a pastor and one of our graduates serving as the DTS National Facilitator for Uganda:

"Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

I have a reason to thank Him for the wonderful things He is doing for us!

First of all, I'm grateful to Him for caring for my family and for the wisdom He gave my two daughters, Mercy and Grace, who have made it into the university, having passed last year's senior six exams!

Secondly, I thank Him for giving us little children of ages nine to fourteen in our Church to evangelize our communities; through this 2 days ago, the children introduced me to their aunt Leah, whom I talked to, and she gave her life to the Lord. Glory to the Lord, Amen!

Praise the Lord for all these blessings, especially for helping his daughters get accepted into the university, and for the little children evangelizing, as well as the woman giving her life to the Lord as a result.

In Len also received the following praise report from sister Collete in Kenya, who is one of our DTS graduates and our National Facilitator there in Kenya:

"Dear brother Leonard,

Blessings and Peace of the Lord.

I am grateful to the Lord always for the knowledge learnt from DTS that has been the base of the foundation of my ministry.

About three weeks ago my prayer partner called me {to say] that her colleague' s wife was in a coma in the ICU and the doctors had given her 50/50 survival so she needed prayers. The colleague is a Hindu and a non- believer. I told her to ask him if he believes in Jesus's healing power which of course he said yes.

My friend and I embarked on serious intercessory prayers. Our plea to God was that the healing of this woman would bring many to Christ through her testimony.

Our Lord does not disappoint especially where his name is glorified. To God be all the glory last week my friend called me to tell me the woman was discharged from the hospital fully healed to the surprise of the doctors.

Glory to God for that amazing answer to prayer!

Two of our students were having technical troubles that were interfering with their DTS studies. Pascal in Uganda was struggling with a smartphone battery that would only last two hours before needing to be charged, but the Lord has provided for him to get a new battery, so that he can now study without that hindrance in his way. However, he injured his left eye in an accident and had an operation on it. It is still causing trouble, so please pray for his healing.

Brother Henry in South Sudan had been robbed and his phone had been stolen. He did manage to buy a new phone, but it kept freezing and he could not install apps on it. So the Lord provided a better one for him, and now he is able to resume his training. Praise the Lord for helping these brothers overcome those major technical challenges.

Brother Stanley has begun teaching school in the Muslim village where he is the only Christian. He has been sharing Jesus with staff and neighbors, but so far nobody has shown any interest in the gospel. Please join is in praying that the Lord Jesus would come to these people and reveal Himself to them. Pray also that eventually the Lord would provide a new LTG partner for him.

February Update - 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In February, we celebrated our twenty-sixth wedding anniversary. We took the day off and spent the day together, including a walk in the park and dinner out. We also received lovely anniversary cards from our children with kind and thoughtful blessings inside.

We also celebrated Joseph's fourteenth birthday in February with homemade cake, cards, gifts, and prayer for him. On that same day Len celebrated his thirty-seventh spiritual birthday in the Lord. Praise the Lord.

In February, brother Stanley, one of our students in Kenya, sent Len the following testimony:

"Shalom brother Len,

The Lord has been so great for me, and I will praise Him forever, because he has done me well. After a long period of financial constraints, the Lord this year has done me a favour, and I am now employed permanently by the government of Kenya.

I don't take this for granted, but am grateful for what He has given me. It is through your prayers to God that this has happened. Everything we do in Christ is indeed not in vain."

We give God all the glory for what He has done in brother Stanley's life. He is a school teacher who has recently relocated to an all-Muslim village, where he is the only Christian. Please pray for the Lord to help him share Jesus with these people, so that eventually one of them will become an LTG partner for him. Pray also that the Lord would reveal Himself to these people through dreams and visions, as He is doing with countless Muslims, many of which are documented on morethandreams.org.

Len received the following email in February from brother John, one of our DTS students, who is a pastor in Uganda. He wrote:

"Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Am here to testify that am getting more and more established in the truth of the Word of God! I am so grateful to God for the lessons I am learning through the DTS. There were a lot of controversial issues, especially in the area of tattoos, the enemy seeking blood in initiating that, worldly music, the sabbath, etc. But with the lessons here, much has been clarified to my understanding. I thank God.

Praise the Lord for what He is doing in brother John's life and ministry. On another note, his court case is finally going to take place on February 15th. Brother Len, I am thankful to God for the wonderful things He has done, and His grace to continue with our LTG group; morning readings day by day and weakly readings of chapters have made a good practice in my life.

In our ministry we launched the preaching of the gospel, and many prayed to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior with six baptisms, which has opened us [up] to this year for more.

I also testify to the Glory of God for giving a new job [to] my wife Rebecca; and we truly thank God for DTS and all the stakeholders. God richly bless you!"

We give thanks and praise to God with brother Max for the great things He is doing in his and his wife Rebecca's life and ministry.

More DTS Testimonies

In fact, Max's wife Rebecca, who is also one of our DTS students in Uganda, later wrote to us her own testimony, in which she stated:

"Praise God bro Len.

I am thankful to God for DTS where I am challenged every day to study the Word of God, This has kept me focused in my journey with the Lord Jesus Christ. I was recently diagnosed with appendicitis, but I thank God for his healing (the pain has greatly reduced).

I have been a volunteer in many organizations for 12 years now, [and recently began serving] with Compassion International, [which was an answer to prayer]. I give glory to God.

My LTG members are growing stronger in the Word of God and prayer. My DTS Facilitator is a great encouragement to me, and I bless God for him.

All glory goes back to God."

We give God the praise for what He has done in sister Rebecca's life. Let's pray the Lord completely heals her from appendicitis.

For those who've been praying, we still have not heard from sister Rebecca in South Sudan (not the same as the other Rebecca in Uganda). She has completely lost touch with us. Please pray she will resume contact, as we are concerned something may have happened to her.

January Update -- 2023

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In December, we brought in the New Year with prayer and blessings. Despite a long sickness we all went through, the Lord has been faithful to keep us, and we trust Him to heal us completely.

The photo to the left was taken on Thanksgiving before all of this sickness began. We have not been well enough to take any recent photos.

One of our Board Members named Mark has been diagnosed with a medical problem, as tumors have developed inside his body around his digestive system. So he is scheduled for major surgery on January 19th, and we are all praying for his healing, as well as for the surgery to go well, if it is still necessary at that point. Please join us in praying for Mark's healing, as he has faith for the Lord to heal him.

In January, brother John, one of our graduates in Nigeria, and the DTS Facilitator for his country, sent Len the following testimony of how the Lord used the DTS to help him grow in his walk with God:

"I started my Christian journey back in 2013, experiencing ups and downs, which included…certain besetting sins, backsliding in heart, etc. Through all my struggles, I had a special interest for God and a desire to know Him personally from my heart.

My zeal to know God consumed me. Coming to know brother Len through his blogs, and enrolling in DTS was a stepping stone for my Christian journey. I did not follow DTS studies halfheartedly, but passionately…and my commitment paid off. My progress became visible to some people that knew me before. Before joining DTS, I knew nothing about ministry, but now I am a pastor of a small congregation to the glory of God.

Before DTS I was a very timid Christian with mixture; the issues of holiness, righteousness, and separation from the world were not part of my life. Now that I have graduated from DTS, it has greatly transformed my Christian life and my knowledge about sound biblical teaching. Though I'm not perfect, I'm fighting everyday towards the goal of perfection.

We give God all the glory for what He has done in brother John's life. He has recently started a ministry called Tabernacle Light, in addition to his role as a pastor. He has a vision and passion to help those who are less privileged by preaching the gospel to them and demonstrating the love of God by assisting them in practical ways as well.

Len received the following email in January from brother Grace, one of our DTS graduates, who is a pastor in Uganda, and the DTS Facilitator for his country. He wrote:

"Greetings brother Len, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!

God is doing a lot through the DTS;

Knowledge of the Word has helped a lot; I'm able to know false and true teachers and teachings in this age; I with the Church are surviving many heresies here.

This discipleship training [I received] has opened doors and led to multiplication in our ministry.

The study of prayer led to night prayers in my life that burst into fire ministry, healings and deliverances.

Our fellowship has the boldness to reach out once a week in Soroti city and suburbs for Jesus, and souls are saved, glory be to the Lord!

Hallelujah! To God be all the glory for what He is doing in brother Grace's ministry.

In January, Len received the following testimony from sister Collete in Kenya, who is one of our graduates and the DTS Facilitator for her country:

"Dear brother Leonard,

I used to be a regular believer -- that means going to church as a routine or being religious. I was more [inclined toward] works than faith. I joined several church activities; it was more to be seen as being pious than having a real relationship with Christ.

When I joined the DTS, things changed. I learnt discipleship and having a relationship with God. I joined a holiness-living preaching church, and this is where the call for my online ministry started. I started sending messages I learnt from the DTS and my church to a few friends. I was overly amazed when they became so interested that they started asking questions, which forced me to read and check for the truth. This was in 2017. Since then I have a congregation of over 1,000 online.

Through this ministry many have been healed, gotten jobs, visas, family reconciliations through prayers. The Lord has led me to counsel, bless, and encourage the depressed. I am very grateful to the Almighty for His privilege upon my life. I had never known I would be able to do such things.

To God be all honour and glory. He is the doer of all.

Praise the Lord! Eternal praise shall be His forever.

We have been unable to reach one of our students named Rebecca in South Sudan for quite some time. Back in December we were unable to reach her for weeks, and then she responded to let us know she had been very sick but hoped to be back at her DTS training within a week. She had been hospitalized with malaria and typhoid. But after that we didn't hear from her again, and have been unable to reach her for weeks. Please pray for her healing and to be back in touch with us.

More DTS Testimonies

On another note, Len was contacted in December by a brother in Christ named Denis in Saint Petersburg, Russia, who has reached out to us in the past and received ministry from us. He doesn't speak any English, but uses an online translation software to communicate with Len. He had gotten saved around 2009, and later went back into sin. Then he contacted us a few years ago, at which time we ministered to him and by the grace of God he returned to the Lord. However, later on, he went back into deep sin again. But he was full of fear and didn't want to stay like that.

So Len found a Pentecostal pastor named Mike in Minnesota from Ukraine who speaks Russian fluently. Together Len and Mike called Denis and ministered to him. Len led Denis in prayer to repent and come back to Christ, and then prayed for deliverance for him, after which he experienced peace in his heart and felt better. He has since made some major changes in his life, getting rid of the things that were part of his sinful lifestyle. Praise the Lord. Right now he is trying to quit cigarettes, so that is something you could pray for him about. He has tried before in the past and failed, so he doesn't have much hope he'll be able to quit this time. He also says he has no faith and focuses on verses in Hebrews that say he can never repent. But Len continues to encourage him to just fully return to the Lord and receive God's mercy, and never go back to that sinful lifestyle.

On Sunday January 8th, Len received the following email from brother Denis. He wrote:

"Dear brother Len,

Today I was at a service in a congregation of Pentecostals who believe in holiness both internally and externally, I have known them for several years. They often prayed for me. Their pastor Mark is an American, and has been serving in Russia for a long time. I didn’t want to go to the service today at all, and when I was going I was in a terrible state mentally, psychologically, emotionally in everything.

Arriving I just sat down and listened without faith, and practically without hope. The sermon ended, and I was called forward [in order for them] to pray for me, and a few more people came out to pray for me, and I myself prayed. [Afterward I was] starting to go back into the hall to sit in my place, and already with the desire to leave the congregation and go home.

Suddenly in my heart and soul there was a desire to kneel, and the Lord began to crush me, touching my hard and callous heart. I began to cry, to break; my heart began to soften, and I perfectly understand that the source of this experience is the Spirit of God, for which I praise the Lord!

[Throughout] the many years of my apostasy, this is the first resurrection of the Lord that I have experienced so much. From the bottom of my heart, brother Len, I want to express my gratitude to you for your service to me, for every prayer, for every letter, for faith and your heart, God bless you. Brother Len, I don’t want to lose this in any way, I’m afraid to lose what God began to work with me today and to touch my heart, I really need Him to continue to crush my heart and cleanse it, so that I would be in the spirit of repentance and contrition, so that my dirty mind -- my mind full of impurity and doubts -- is cleansed, so that my dirty and black soul is cleansed, so that my heart is contrite and lamented, so that it would be cleansed by His truth and His Spirit, so that my faith would be strengthened, so that I could be filled with love for people and God, in order to devote the rest of my life to the Lord.

Brother Len, support me in prayer please, I don’t want the devil to steal it. Tomorrow I will meet with the pastor for a talk. I really hope not to lose...The most urgent need for me now is a contrite heart, a heart clean from all dirt, in the spirit of repentance and faith with love and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. God bless you."

This is truly a miracle from God. Hallelujah! He doesn't even seem like the same person in a way. Prior to this, he still felt he may be beyond hope and eternally condemned already. Please join us in praying for Denis to be set free from cigarette addiction, and to receive God's love, mercy, and forgiveness.
