Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family: You know that our son Christopher (pictured left) has been looking for a job for two years. During that time, he only ever had perhaps one phone conversation with an interested recruiter. But in November he went for an actual job interview in person for an IT support job in his field. He did very well on the interview, after which they offered him the job, and he accepted. He'll begin his new job on December 1st, Lord willing. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for him.
This is an excellent opportunity fairly close to home. The hours are not perfect and the income is below the target we were hoping and praying for, but at least it's better than nothing. It's a chance for him to work in his field, and a friend of his from college already got a job there and likes it. That friend had referred Christopher, which is why he was asked to come for an interview. Thank the Lord for prompting his friend from college to remember Christopher to his employer just as Pharaoh's chief cupbearer remembered Joseph to Pharaoh (Gen 41:9-13).
Our son Joseph (picture above to the right) is continuing his advanced studies following his recent certification as an Advanced Locksmith, as he has now begun to study Commercial Locksmithing, This is the specialized field of securing businesses by installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and access control systems, which requires a more comprehensive approach than residential locksmithing due to the increased complexity and scale of commercial properties. After he finishes that course, he will go on to study Advanced Master Keying. His goal is to finish both of these courses by Len's birthday in March by the grace of God.
Jennifer took a vacation for a few days by herself to West Virginia, and had a good time visiting with her parents, as well as her brother and his family. She really enjoyed the time away from her normal routine and came back refreshed.
Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its tenth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda.
Since our last update, three of our graduates in South Sudan, Uganda, and Nigeria have transitioned from their expansive evangelistic outreaches to conserving the harvest that has been reaped, testimonies of which you can about in the following links:
Uganda Highlights
"Praise the Lord, brother Len,
"We are in phase II follow-up, where some people are undergoing deliverance. A Moslem boy by the name Anis, just gave his life to the Lord.
"There is a family that has gone through witchcraft for decades being delivered; the children never get married, most don't have jobs, only two daughters are working; one is a judge, but was near death a few days ago, and after prayer, she has been discharged from hospital. The woman's elder daughter is working and wealthy, but has never called the mother for years and has never provided for her mother. During a deliverance prayer, she called the mother and promised to come home with food, etc. for the mother. In other words, while the mother was in deliverance prayers with us, the daughter was over calling her, more than four times before the mother responded! Immediately the mother testified that this has now happened for the first time!
"In that same home of about eight people, four more youths gave their lives to the Lord.
"We realize there is a lot of witchcraft here that is responsible for people's suffering; a lady Sarah is being bewitched by her ex-husband, but after prayer and the Word, she is completely free.
"We had one boy, Moses, who gave his life to the Lord. He requested us to start a Church at his place; I shared with him the process of starting a Church.
"Praying for their LTGs.
"Blessings brother,
Br Grace."
Praise the Lord! Brother Grace has also had two new wells drilled in two towns of the district of Kalaki, where all those children recently got saved through his ministry. As we previously reported, the children there had been gathering dirty water from the ground for domestic use by their mothers, but now they have fresh, clean water. The third well will be drilled next. Please pray that it all goes as planned.
South Sudan Highlights
The Lord provided for Brother Henry in South Sudan to have his home in Uganda repaired, which was severely damaged by a retaliatory attack from the enemy in the form of a massive lighting strike to the home. Praise the Lord! He also shared the following testimonies in November. In one, he wrote to Len saying:
"Your journey of ministry, especially in Africa was predestined by God. God had planned so, though you had not seen it coming in the beginning. Alleluia...I thank God for connecting me to this revival anointing of the truth.
"There's a great impact that God has used you to bring in Africa, especially where I am in South Sudan. Yesterday...I met one lady I used to preach to, she has been fellowshipping from a cult "prophetic" church. I used to preach to her, but she could not listen until I submitted her in prayers. Yesterday [when] I stopped [to speak with her], she immediately told me that I am a true man of God, because I speak the truth [in] what I have been teaching her. She got a strange dream, and from that time she fears going to that church again. It has been now four weeks that she is not fellowshipping [there]. I led her into salvation, and requested her to come to church for deliverance. You can now see what God is doing because of this ministry that has reached South Sudan.
"Yours faithfully,
Bro Henry."
Glory to God!
He also wrote: "I thank God for what He is doing, our LTG numbers are increasing weekly, I have managed to notice much zeal for evangelism among those who are attending their LTG meetings weekly. I thank God for sister Nancy who had just given her life to Jesus, she came with her husband to the church and when I was teaching, she lifted up her hand, I thought she wanted to give her life to Jesus but she said no, she she wanted to confess. I gave her chance, she stood up and said her iPad that she came with, was bought for her by man who wants to confuse her marriage, she said she had been committing adultery with him but now she can't miss heaven because of him, she vowed to end the relationship immediately after repenting. I see people working out their salvation with fear and trembling, I was scared that it was cause to cause a fight because the man too was present, but instead the husband was happy, he said he knew about his wife's relationship with that man but she could not listen, he thanked God that his wife is now saved and changed."
Hallelujah! The Lord also provided for brother Henry with a motorcycle for his ministry. Praise the Lord. Thank you for praying for him.
Nigeria Highlights
Brother John in Nigeria share the following updates:
"By God’s grace, we are gathering the harvest gradually! The LTGs (Life Transformation Groups) have been formed. Though not all believers here can read, those who can have been taught the LTG pattern and have started forming the groups."
"In the prison, the only thing I can do now is to form LTGs (Life Transformation Groups) among the inmates. The testimonies I’m receiving now are truly amazing. One of the members told me that he used to read the Bible before he was imprisoned, but now he can no longer see clearly. I prayed for him to regain his sight and ability to read the Bible again.
Another man shared that he has never gone to church in his entire life, but now he is asking me to always pray for him so he can live only for Jesus and reflect His image.
Those who have Bibles and can read have joined the LTG group, and the results are remarkable — everyone who joined the LTG has completely stopped smoking. Many others want to join, but don’t have Bibles to participate. As I continue working with them, I’m praying and thinking about how to involve even those without Bibles.
Many have also promised to stop smoking. The LTG is really working powerfully here in prison. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to take pictures within the premises, so I may not be able to post any images. I truly wish I could show you photos or videos of the remarkable testimonies happening right now."
Praise the Lord! The Lord has since provided Bibles for those without Bibles, and brother John was planning on distributing them this weekend of the 14th-15th.
He also wrote:
"In Ohong, a discipleship fellowship has already been established. In Ukwel, Obudu, discipleship meetings will officially begin this coming Monday, and they will hold every Monday thereafter. "Tomorrow, I’ll be heading to Kuyia for another outreach.
"Right now, I’ve sponsored Brother Stephen to Karu, where we’ve gone twice for follow-up visits to finalize arrangements for a new discipleship fellowship. By next week, we’ll be there in full force to officially establish it.
"In every place we go, once there’s an open door, we form fellowship meetings to help believers grow.
"I’ve also sponsored Pastor John to go to Yala, a far distance, to make arrangements for us to go there soon and establish fellowship with the brethren. In Obudu, a home cell fellowship is already active at Pastor David’s house.
"All glory to God for the grace to keep pressing forward. The work continues."
Amen. Glory to God.
Our brother Peter in Kenya, who is one of our students, had lost his job recently. But in answer to prayer, he found another job. Praise the Lord!
Sister Collete, who is one of our graduates in Kenya, is recovering from pneumonia that she and her family had. She is improving, but still has a cough.
Brother William in South Sudan is a new believer that came to Christ through brother Henry. The Lord has healed him of the head injuries he sustained when he was beaten with logs. Praise the Lord. Please pray the Lord will provide him with a new job.
Len sent out his monthly edition of the Old News That's Still Fresh in November, as he usually does each month. We hope you'll take a moment to read the content that he has published.
In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.
