September Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: By the grace of God, we are doing well overall. In September, the children returned to home school and are making a smooth transition back into their studies.  Joseph is in kindergarten now and is really enjoying being in school like everyone else.

In August, Hope awoke one morning with a desire to write a poem about the cross. Then she decided that she wanted to try and also cover the topic of cross-bearing. So that day she wrote an acrostic poem called Cross Bearing, which we have now posted on Verses to the King.

In September we went for a little picnic at a local park, which was fun.

We are currently still experiencing engine oil leaks in our van, which have recently gotten worse. We are praying and asking God to solve this issue, as the mechanic who previously worked on it is an hour from here, is booked solid for the next five weeks before he could see us; and up until now he has not been willing to accept responsibility for the leaking seal. We may need to just get it done some place locally, but we have gotten different opinions from different mechanics about what part of the engine exactly is leaking. So it is difficult to know how to proceed, but the Lord will guide us and provide for us as we pray.

Ministry: We continue to reach out to our neighbors as the Lord gives opportunity. One of them was a neighbor we called "Jim" in our last newsletter, who is a Freemason.  He visited with Len for a couple hours one evening and listened to the gospel. Len left him with some material to read that exposes the satanic nature of the masons, and he promised to read it, as well as discuss it afterward. However, since then there seems to be a change in the relationship, and no follow up discussion has happened yet. Pray that the Lord would reveal the Truth of the gospel to "Jim", that he would be truly born again, and that he would realize the evil of the brotherhood he is part of.

In our update last month, we mentioned a brother, named Lusindiso, in Capetown, SA, who has been sharing Len's articles with his pastor. The pastor in turn has given him the task of distributing the messages to various groups in the church. Lusindiso has been experiencing spiritual warfare against himself and his wife as a result of his efforts. Please pray for the Lord to rescue them from every evil attack.

Brother Lusindiso says the pastor is now having him translate my articles into the Xhosa language, which is the primary language of the United in Christ Ministries he belongs to. So he is translating them and reading them to the Church members on Sundays at the pastor's request.

Len also spoke to the pastor of the church brother Lusindiso attends. She is a woman named Nontsikelelo Blessing Dondashe, who told Len she had thought she was a Christian, but when she began to read his messages, she realized she wasn’t even saved, so she repented. Now she is doing everything the Lord shows her that she must do. She is making sure the people in the Church get the messages. But she is also distributing them in hard copy to local pastors and elders of other Churches. She does not know if they will receive the messages, since some of them aren’t even saved, but she at least wants to get the messages into their hands, so they have an opportunity to make a decision.

Her approach is to tell them, “Read the papers, then call me and we can pray about it." She also distributes them to school teachers as well, since they are in front of students and must also know what God requires. She was praising God for what He has been doing through these messages, and she invited Len to come to Capetown to hold meetings and teach. She said that she would work very hard to organize it, and she would invite other Churches to attend the meetings she would organize, so that they could receive this teaching from God. She says she wants to see revival come to that area, and she believes that if Len comes, the Lord will provide for all the expenses. Len made it very clear to her that he would have to pray about that and hear from the Lord whether it is His will for him to go there.

"Deji"
We mentioned last month that Doulos Missions International now offers discipleship training online through the Doulos Training School (DTS), a three-year, online, distance education school.  It is an international school for adult students in every nation on earth, and is intended for those who desire to become a disciple that makes disciples. First quarter began on September 1.

We have two students enrolled, one of whom is a man in Nigeria named Deji (pronounced like "cagey"), whom we have mentioned before, and the other is a woman in Jamaica named Nickeshia. We also have one student in Minnesota auditing the courses. By way of correction, last month we said we had students (plural) enrolled, but we only had one enrolled at the time. Perhaps the draft newsletter was written with that as a placeholder, and it did not get updated before it was published.

You may recall that Deji recently earned a Master's degree in Soil Science.  And the Lord has recently blessed him with a job as well.  He testified about how he came to know the Lord saying that he grew up in a Christian family, and was involved in many youth activities, but he didn't know the Lord at all. He said, "I was very ungodly in my thought, ways and speech. Everything about me was of the world, yet I was a regular attendee in church. The funny thing was that people could not discern who I was, especially people in church. I lived a very reckless and dirty life until December 1, 2012 when a sister narrated a dream she had concerning herself, myself and one other sister in the church. It was a clear warning from the Lord! I was so scared and turned to the Lord."

Afterward, he returned to his studies on campus in 2013, and due to bad company he chose for friends, he gradually backslid right back into the world, until his condition was worse than it had been before he had gotten saved. He continued on that reckless path until September 2014, when he was visiting his parents, and heard a sermon on his sister's phone that brought the conviction of the Holy Spirit to his heart.

He said, "I realized how far away I had turned from God. I felt touched and knelt down to turn from my wicked ways and ask the Lord Jesus into my life. I started reading the Bible and praying more. I started getting into more of the things of the Lord Jesus, I started going out on evangelism and everyone began to notice a 'new Deji'.  Since March 15 this year, I started stumbling on some articles and videos about God's requirements on holiness, which awakened me to the fact that many Christians and myself have been very careless about our faith. This experience made me thirsty to know more about the Lord, what he has revealed about Himself in His word, and to be equipped for the work of God. In attending DTS, I believe that I will know more of the Lord until I give all of myself to Him."

Our other student, sister Nickeshia in Jamaica is a married mother of two children. She is a trained school teacher for primary and elementary levels, which she has been teaching for the past fourteen years, but now she has been teaching special education students. Please visit the DTS online at Doulos Training School to find out more about how you or someone you know can participate. Please also pray for this new aspect of our ministry, especially that the Lord would develop through it many disciples who make disciples, resulting in multiplication for His glory. Please remember Deji and Nickeshia as you pray for the DTS.

You may recall we previously mentioned in our newsletter a reader, named Gino from Australia, who has been corresponding with Len personally during the month of August. He and Len have continued to correspond since then, including on Skype once, and Gino has shared his salvation testimony about how he turned to Christ from atheism. Len wrote an article about it called An Atheist Turns to Christ, which is very encouraging. In that testimony, Gino talks about how the Lord used Len's blogs in his growth as a disciple of Christ, and we give God all the glory for that. Praise the Lord!

Len has already shared his article of Gino's testimony with an Australian atheist now living in South Korea, who was also raised Catholic like Gino was. This atheist's name is Peter, and so far he shows no openness to the gospel. Please pray that he will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

The Lord continues to use the online Christian literature ministry worldwide.  Len also continues to get encouraging feedback from those who are benefiting from it.  One brother in Uganda, named Alex, contacted Len for advice and prayer about a very complicated and difficult trial he is experiencing domestically.  Len responded to him, and he replied gratefully. "Dear Len, thank you very much for the suggestions and guidance.  I must say that I have already learnt quite a lot through you and your writings.  You have so much material which is very educative about the Word of God and applicable to the current times.  I thank the Lord for using you and letting me come across your site." Alex has given us permission to share his need for prayer. Please pray for Alex that the Lord would bring deliverance from evil to his wife, show him what he should do in this situation, and would heal his son from seizures.

One anonymous reader commenting on an article Len had written, claimed to be hearing demonic voices, who were saying blasphemous things about the Lord Jesus, and goading him or her to commit suicide. This person, who only identified himself or herself as "1lord1god jesus4life", is clearly under a major demonic attack. He or she said, "I just hate life and wish to die." Please pray for "1lord1god jesus4life" to receive deliverance from evil.

Another project Len has been working on has been exposing a dangerous and destructive cult in South Korea.  That same Australian atheist we've mentioned, named Peter, brought to Len's attention recently that members of a cult based in Seoul, Korea, where he lives, produced the Trip to Hell video Len had written about. Due to his own roommate and most of his students at one time getting involved in the cult, he has seen it first-hand and through his extensive research become a subject matter expert. Len has since done his own extensive research and written an article about it, called Exposing the JMS Cult.  Although Len has been reaching out to two people within the cult that he has previously had contact with, he has not yet been successful in getting them to come out of the group. One of them is a lady in South Korea, named Hwa, who is in complete denial of the information he presented to her about the cult, and the other is a pastor in California named David, who is so far not responding to Len's attempts to reach him.

Finally, concerning the advice we received that we should publicize the prophetic message from brother Gabriel in Togo, and our decision to publish it last month, Len decided a day or two afterward to remove it from the newsletter and did so.

"Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished You have done for us." (Is 26:12)

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest the following articles Len has recently written called The Son of Man, Holy Washings - Part I, Holy Washings - Part II, Read the Bible for All Its Worth!, The Sin of Silence, The Witness of the Spirit, Judging with Righteous Judgment, Exposing the JMS Cult, An Atheist Turns to Christ, and The Evil Spirit of Alcohol. All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - September 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For the end of summer picnic we had at the park and the successful return to home school.
  2. For the new people we are meeting in the community and the relationships we are building.
  3. For the Lord's leading, guidance, and help operating the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as the students who have already enrolled.
  4. For the opportunities the Lord has given us to be a witness to people along the way, including the opportunity Len had to share Jesus with "Jim" the Freemason.
  5. For the lives being touched for Christ around the world through our writing ministry.
  6. For the words of encouragement we have received from people.
Next steps and prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to assist us with the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who make disciples, resulting in multiplication for His glory. And special blessings upon Deji and Nickeshia as they study to show themselves approved.
  2. For the Lord to help Alex in Uganda by bringing deliverance to his wife, showing him what he should do in this situation, and healing his son from seizures.
  3. For the Lord to help Lusindiso, in Capetown, SA, as he shares the messages and for victory in the spiritual battles.
  4. For the Lord to bring Peter the Australian atheist into the kingdom of God through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
  5. For the Lord to reveal the Truth to "Jim" the Freemason, and move him out of his comfort zone.
  6. For the Lord to grant "1lord1god jesus4life" deliverance from evil, especially the spirit of suicide.
  7. For the Lord to place military people in our path who are ready for the gospel, and who will later be used by the Lord to reach many others for Christ here and in the uttermost parts of the earth.
  8.  For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for Len, and that He would help Len by opening doors for ministry and giving him courage, that whenever he speaks, words may be given him so that he will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.
  9. For the Lord to send His angels with Len’s messages to those who need them, and for an open heaven over them when they receive his messages.
  10. For the Lord to continue to raise up new faith partners, and to provide for us, including all the furniture we need.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

with love from all of us,

The Lacroixs

August Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: By the grace of God, we are all doing well. In July, we took a trip to the zoo and enjoyed an afternoon there together.

The children continue to enjoy their friends here and another one of them gave his life to Jesus in early August, as Faith shared with him.  This time it was a young, four-year old boy, whom we will call "Tim". Pray that he will grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord as he walks out his decision.

Charity has been making very good use of her acrylic oil paints that she received for her seventeenth birthday in June. She has been watching some art lessons by video online, and she's been applying what she's learned very well. We're very pleased with her progress.  We've posted these online at the Recent Artwork page on A Brush with Life, if you would like to see them. She has also been writing more new poems, which are excellent. For example, there's Compassion for the Lost and God's Eternal Ways. These have been posted on Verses to the King, if you would like to read them.

In August we also celebrated Faith's thirteenth birthday with a small party at home. We all enjoyed some warm, moist, homemade gingerbread cake, prayed for her, and she received a couple of gifts and some cards. The Lord blessed her with a beautiful, sunny day for the party, as well. Please join us in praying that the Lord would bless her in this next year of her life with joy, peace, and even greater fruitfulness for Him than she has already experienced thus far.

Hope diligently completed her free typing course online, and she's made some progress with her typing skills. She can now type without looking at the keyboard for the most part, and although she is not very fast yet, it is an improvement over her previous hunt and peck method.

Ministry: We have continued to meet more of our neighbors, and the Lord has given us opportunities to share Jesus with some of them. As you would expect, generally speaking they are mostly military servicemen, or their spouse is, or they are retired military. One neighbor who is a soldier, serving with the 82nd Airborne, whom we will call "Don" for the sake of this letter, indicated an openness to the gospel as Len shared with him. Please pray that the Lord would open up the opportunity for Len to share further with him.

Len has also had positive follow up contacts with a couple of the people we previously shared with.  The two people are "Steve", whom we mentioned in our May newsletter, and "Roy", whom we mentioned in our June newsletter.  Both of them indicated a willingness to talk further with Len. We are praying and looking forward to the chance to share further with them, as the Lord allows. Not all interactions have been positive though. Some people have been closed to the gospel, which is sad to say. Please remember one of them in prayer in particular, who is comfortable as is, whom we will call "Jim". Pray the Lord will reveal the Truth to him and that he will be moved out of his comfort zone.

Doulos Missions International now offers discipleship training online through the Doulos Training School (DTS).  This is a three-year, distance education school, so all training is conducted over the Internet.  It is an international school for adult students in every nation on earth, and is intended for those who desire to become a disciple that makes disciples. In addition to the academic requirements, students are also required to do practical work throughout the course of their studies in the DTS. That includes maintaining a daily prayer life, daily Bible reading, participation in a discipleship group, known as a Life Transformation Group, evangelism, service for the Lord in some capacity, weekly participation in local worship services, giving tithes and offerings, accountability and submission to godly oversight. The first quarter begins on September 1, and we already have one student enrolled. Please visit the DTS online at Doulos Training School to find out more about how you or someone you know can participate. Please also pray for this new aspect of our ministry, especially that the Lord would develop through it many disciples who make disciples, resulting in multiplication for His glory.

The Lord continues to use the online Christian literature ministry worldwide.  Len also continues to get encouraging feedback from those who are benefiting from it.  Here is one testimony from a brother in South Africa, which Len has published with his permission in this present newsletter and online at Prodigal Restored to God:

"I grew up in a Baptist Church. In my early teens, I then stopped attending church for worldly things like football. In my late teens, I realized I had a spiritual problem. I went from one witchdoctor to another looking for solutions until one day someone in one of the prosperity churches invited me. After a long time there, with no breakthrough in my spiritual problem, my finances were drying up, as they really ask for money there. Everything is about money. They have campaigns whereby you have to come with all your salary plus bonus and sell your things, and put it all in an envelope with a request, which they say they will pray over in Israel for God to answer your problems."

"I then stopped going to any church. One day while browsing through the internet I came to a website, where I read a story of a certain ex-satanist from DRC, another African country about three hours flight from South Africa. I then began thinking seriously about my salvation more than my spiritual problem. Then while browsing through the Internet, I came to your blog, [EternalDestinations.info], from which I read a lot of heaven and hell testimonies that really shook me. My uncle has been inviting me to his church. I then decided to go there. Ever since that time, I have been attending there. However, I have been giving them the testimonies from your website, as they are not a holiness church."

"Their leader (the Bishop) has been introducing these testimonies to different groups (youth, mothers, fathers, etc). He has even given me the task of compiling these testimonies, and the corresponding videos, to give to these different groups, so that they may read and start letting go of certain things that the church wasn’t aware were sins before God."

"In short, I am in a church that is still striving for holiness through the testimonies found from your site. We thank God for that. It’s not easy, as some are resisting what comes out of these testimonies. Perhaps they feel they cannot be told what to do by a ‘new congregant’ such as me. But I believe with time, God will help us, though we may not have time."

Lusindiso Mfidi

J. Martin
Another reader, who is a law enforcement agency chaplain in the state of Georgia, wrote to us a kind note of appreciation saying in part, "I enjoy reading your works, which God has so generously blessed you through the power of the Holy Spirit, to publish for us to read.  May He continue to use you, bless you in knowledge, and grant you with many gifts for delivering His Word to the world."

Your brother in Christ,
J. Martin (Rome, Ga. USA)

Another reader, named Gino from Australia, has been corresponding with Len personally during the month of August. He stated: "Len this website is an oasis of Truth for those who love the Lord and want to obey his Word." Later he commented, "I read a few days ago your article, Restored Truth. It is heartbreakingly true. History (is) repeating itself with man rejecting God's Word over man's opinion or denominations beliefs. That article really blessed me."

Len has also been in contact with the Burmese pastors about possible ministry opportunities in the upcoming months. As you recall, the plan is to meet with them in Malaysia, so that's still being discussed in terms of their availability. One of those pastors in Myanmar has put Len in touch with some Burmese pastors here in the US. Two of them, located in Texas, called and spoke with Len in August.  Their names are Daniel and Ling. Daniel indicated a need for training among the Burmese pastors in the States, located in Texas, Colorado, and Washington, so that is something we'll be praying about to see how the Lord would lead Len. Meanwhile a Hungarian brother in Hungary, named Balazs (BO'- lazh), has contacted Len to say he missed him and is asking if Len has any plans to return to that country.

"Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished You have done for us." (Is 26:12)

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest an article Len has recently written called The Ways of Life, Practicing Your Righteousness, Keeping a Prayer Journal, and Divorce -- Three Divine Revelations. All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - August 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

July Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In June we celebrated Charity's seventeenth birthday. It seems like just yesterday that she was a baby and now she'll be an adult in less than a year. She got cards and a few gifts, all of which were thoughtful. One of the gifts was acrylic oil paints and some drawing paper, as she has really been blossoming as a young artist.

The boys also each got brand new bikes with some birthday gift money they had saved up. The Lord blessed us with great deals on the two bikes.  The total cost of both bikes put together was less than what many of the individual bikes are selling for these days.  Praise the Lord! This is Joseph's very first bike.  And Christopher has been without one for two years since we left Hungary, so they are both thankful to the Lord.

The children all completed their standardized "Iowa Tests of Educational Development" (ITEDs) in June and began their summer break from home school.  On the first day of summer break, Faith led one of her friends from the neighborhood to Christ. Praise the Lord! The eleven-year old girl's name is "Quintessa."  Please pray that she will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and bring her family to the Lord, too.

In July we received the children's ITED scores back from the testing agency, and were pleased with the results. They were not perfect overall, and all have at least some areas needing improvement, but they showed excellent progress in their studies. (Note: Please skip to the last two paragraphs under the boys' photo below, unless you are interested in the details on the test results).

As expected, Charity excelled in reading, writing, vocabulary, and spelling.  Her Grade Equivalent (GE) for Core Subjects was 13+, which means she is in the equivalent of thirteenth year of education, or freshman in college. In reality, she is entering the eleventh grade in the fall. Her overall composite GE for all subjects was grade 12.7.

Hope also did very well. Her strengths are in the areas of vocabulary, language, usage and expression, conciseness (she does not take after Len in this area), and reading comprehension. She did well in science, critical thinking, and scored 100% in Economics. Like Charity, Hope's Core Total GE was grade 13+ as well! Her overall composite GE for all subjects was grade 12.1.  So her overall aptitude is that of a high school senior, although she is fourteen years old entering grade nine this fall.

Faith excelled, too. Although she is starting seventh grade in September and is turning thirteen years old next month, she is at the aptitude of Grade Equivalence (GE) 9, meaning high school freshman. Her strengths are in the areas of vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, language usage and expression, scoring 100% in nine of the sub-topics within these areas. She also did well in science, maps and diagrams, and critical thinking.

Christopher scored high by the grace of God. Although he is a ten-year old soon entering fifth grade, his Core Subject GE reflected a 7.7 or seventh grade aptitude.  Meanwhile his overall composite GE was 8.6, meaning that overall he demonstrates an eighth-grade aptitude.  He scored above average in every subject except Math, in which he was fairly average. He scored 100% in about fourteen different areas, including Economics. So his diligence with his studies is paying off.

We praise God for the strong test results the children have received, especially since they have always been home schooled and have moved around quite a bit.  As a side note, Hope and Faith are taking an online typing course this summer, so they are staying busy during summer break.  Joseph is slowly learning to read and write.  He often comes to us with little notes like, "Love One Another" or "Hope for You." He prays and listens to a chapter of the Bible daily, by the grace of God.

We mentioned last month we had been trying to find a mechanic that could replace our catalytic converter on our fourteen-year-old van.  The dealer's price for the work is around $1,500, but Len was able to purchase one online through eBay for only $280, and even after miscellaneous parts and labor were included we got the converter replaced for about $400! Praise the Lord! That was a great answer to prayer.

Ministry: As you know, we are now living in a mostly military community that is close to Fort Bragg, the largest military base of any country in the world!

We have continued to meet more of our new neighbors, and the Lord has given us opportunities to share Jesus with some of them. As you would expect, generally speaking they are mostly military servicemen, or their spouse is, or they are retired military. One neighbor who is a soldier, whom we will call "Wayne" for the sake of this letter, indicated an openness to the gospel as we shared with him. The Lord put a love for him in our hearts, as He has also done with others we have met here. Please pray that the Lord would open up the opportunity for Len to share further with him.

We have also done a prayerful reconnaissance of some strategic evangelism locations.  Without disclosing for the enemy where those are located exactly, we will say that we had opportunity to witness to a young lady outside a sleazy establishment one night, who was a backslidden Christian.  For the sake of this update, we'll call her "Mercy" and ask that you please pray for her to repent and give her life completely to the Lord Jesus.

We have been encouraged to see statistical data indicating that the online Christian literature ministry is having perhaps the greatest impact, in terms of the numbers of people being reached worldwide.  Len also continues to get encouraging feedback from those who are benefiting from it.

For instance, a reader named Gino commented on Len's article about Gabriel Doufle Kokou's Testimony of Heaven and Hell, saying, "Though these holiness messages are very unpopular in general in today's churches, they line up with God's Word and the Truth is (that) without holiness no one will see the Lord."

Len has also been in contact with the Burmese pastors about possible ministry opportunities in the upcoming months. Meanwhile a Hungarian brother in Hungary, named Balazs (BO'- lazh), has contacted Len to say he missed him and is asking if Len has any plans to return to that country.

"Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." (Ps 115:1)

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest an article Len has recently written called Having a Servant's Heart and Tattoos and Body Piercing. All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - July 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For the new people we are meeting and the relationships we are building.
  2. For the help the Lord gave the children on their ITEDs.
  3. For the celebration of Charity's seventeenth birthday.
  4. For helping us get the van repaired for a fraction of the cost that was originally estimated.
  5. For the opportunities the Lord has given us to be a witness to people along the way.
  6. For the salvation of the eleven-year old girl, "Qunitessa" in our neighborhood.
  7. For the lives being touched for Christ around the world through our writing ministry.
  8. For the words of encouragement we have received from people.
Next steps and prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to draw to Himself the neighbor, "Wayne," that we have been witnessing to.
  2. For the Lord to help "Mercy" repent and commit her whole life to the Lord Jesus.
  3. For the Lord to help "Quintessa" to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and bring her family to the Lord, too.
  4. For the Lord to place military people in our path who are ready for the gospel, and who will later be used by the Lord to reach many others for Christ here and in the uttermost parts of the earth.
  5. For the Lord to give Len guidance and provision regarding his planned, short-term trip later this year to Malaysia.
  6. For the Lord to send his angels with Len’s messages to those who need them, and for an open heaven over them when they receive his messages.
  7. For the Lord to open new doors of opportunity for ministry for us, and that we would be fruitful.
  8. For the Lord to continue to raise up new faith partners.
  9. For the Lord to provide for us, including all the furniture we need.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

June Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: As you probably know already, we've been experiencing a heat wave here, where it's been getting up into the nineties, and even hit a record high of a hundred degrees today.  Overall, it's been a hot, summer-like spring season this year.  We can't help but wonder what the connection is between the unusually hot weather globally, and the massive X-class solar flares that impacted the earth on March 11th and 12th, as well as on May 5th and 6th.  The Scriptures do say that one day the sun will be given power to scorch people with intense heat (Rev 16:8-9), so we know it is possible, and this seems to be a harbinger of things to come.

In June we continued to settle into our new residence.  The children continued to make new friends and play with them.  They have also been sharing Jesus with their friends in very meaningful and loving ways. One of those was a young girl who aspires to be a witch, whom we will call "Cassandra."  She is the daughter of the couple that we mentioned in our last newsletter that we witnessed to in our neighborhood, to whom we gave the alias "Steve" and "Nancy" to maintain their privacy. Please pray that "Cassandra" would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

The children have now finished nearly all their home school assignments for the school year.  Aside from minimal coursework that one or two of them have to finalize, they only have left to take their standardized tests, which we ordered. These are the kind where you darken the circle to indicate your answer, and they are timed. It's a requirement in North Carolina for them to take these, so the plan is for them to take these tests this week.

The hunt for furniture continues. The Lord blessed us with a kitchen set of furniture and a dining set that we picked up used from two different military families, one of which was having a garage sale and the other was moving to West Point to become a professor there.  We thank the Lord for these two finds, because the cost of both sets was less than one new set, and even less than the cost of many used sets for sale out there.  They required some minor repairs, which we have since done, and they are meeting our needs very well. Praise the Lord! We still have no bedroom sets or living room set, but it doesn't matter. We are getting along fine for now on air mattresses and folding chairs.

We are also trying to find a mechanic that can replace our catalytic converter on our fourteen-year-old van.  The dealer's price for the work is around $1,500, so we have been trying to find someone who can do it for less with perhaps an after-market part. It's been a bit of a challenge, since we are new to the area and don't have a mechanic yet that we have built a trusting relationship with.  We have until August to get this done, so that we can pass inspection and renew our vehicle registration.  This has actually been an issue for about two years, but somehow the Lord miraculously helped us to legally and legitimately pass the inspection two years in a row in spite of it. So we're praying this would be resolved inexpensively sometime soon.

In our May newsletter, there was a late edition that you may have missed, in which we reported that two days after we moved to the new location, we celebrated Christopher's tenth birthday.  Since we didn't have chairs, we were sitting on milk crates around a folding camping table.  But we had fun with it and it was a joyful time, as you will see if you look at the May newsletter photos at this link. The current June photos are at the following link below:

Ministry: Last month we mentioned that we are now living in a mostly military community that is close to Fort Bragg. After publishing our last newsletter, Len discovered a startling fact about the base that we were not aware of.  According to Army Technology, "Fort Bragg serves 52,280 active duty soldiers, 12,624 reserve components and temporary duty students, 8,757 civilian employees, 3,516 contractors and 62,962 active duty family members. It is also home to 98,507 army retirees and family members."  It's the largest military base of any country in the world!

We have continued to meet more of our new neighbors, and the Lord has given us opportunities to share Jesus with some of them. One of them, whom we will call "Roy" for the sake of this letter, doesn't know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, but he indicated an interest in knowing the Truth.  Please pray that the Lord would open up the opportunity for Len to share further with him.

Brother Ayodeji
Len recently responded to some "urgent" questions from a young man in Nigeria, named Ayodeji, who is awaiting the defense of his Master's degree thesis in Agriculture (Soil science). He had read some of Len's articles and responded afterward:

"Thank you so much for the effort. The Lord has used your ministry to reach out to me. I prayed for a deeper relationship with the Lord and few days after, I started stumbling on those things on your blog. Even if no one will believe me when I share it with them, I want to live in holiness for the Lord....May God reward you for the work you are doing on Eternal Destinations. I pray that the Lord would give us the grace to reign with Him in heaven."

Then Len sent him some specific articles of his in response to specific concerns Ayodeji had, so that he might encourage him, to which he responded:

"Your article on Jeremiah 6:16 is a reminder to what path I should take. Thank you so much, sir. May the Lord bless you and continue to use you to draw more souls to the old, narrow path that leads to eternal life. Your writings has been a blessing so much that I also wish that I could write for the Lord."

"I will like to ask for a favour sir...I would like to have you as a counsellor. The Bible says we should not put our trust in man, but my spirit bears witness that you are indeed God-sent to this generation to help people like me in our walk with the Lord in holiness. I do not want to fall into watered-down teachings of holiness again. When I discovered these things on your blog, I was surprised at how much the church has conformed to the world."

"Thank you for the words of encouragement and for your counsel. May the Lord bless you, sir...I read those articles you sent me and I've been much stronger in faith than before I got them. They've been a blessing to me, sir. God bless you."

Another lady named Michelle contacted Len with a serious question after reading one of his articles.  She asked, "I am living in sin with my boyfriend , what should I do? Will I go to hell? Does just believing in Jesus get me into heaven?" Len told her about the love of Jesus, as well as what the Word says about the sins of fornication and adultery, and warned her of the fatal consequences if she continues. He also suggested other articles that would help her to understand that we must repent of sin, obey the Lord, and live in holiness. Please pray for Michelle to repent and follow Jesus.

"Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." (Ps 115:1)

Note: Comments and photo of Ayodeji used with permission.

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest an article Len has recently written called The Difference Between a Disciple and a Believer and All Our Deeds Are Known to the Lord. All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - June 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For the new people we are meeting and the relationships we are building.
  2. For the opportunities the Lord has given us to be a witness to people along the way.
  3. For the lives being touched for Christ around the world through our writing ministry.
  4. For the words of encouragement we have received from people.
Next steps and prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to draw to Himself the neighbor, "Roy," that we have been witnessing to, as well as "Cassandra" the little girl our children have shared Jesus with, who aspires to be a witch.
  2. For the Lord to place military people in our path who are ready for the gospel, and who will later be used by the Lord to reach many others for Christ here and in the uttermost parts of the earth.
  3. For the Lord to give Len guidance and provision regarding his planned, short-term trip later this year to Malaysia.
  4. For the Lord to send his angels with Len’s messages to those who need them, and for an open heaven over them when they receive his messages.
  5. For the Lord to open new doors of opportunity for ministry for us, and that we would be fruitful.
  6. For the Lord to continue to raise up new faith partners.
  7. For the Lord to provide for us, including all the furniture we need and the car repairs.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

May Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In April, we continued with our search for another place to live until we ran out of time.  We encountered more difficulties with this move than in any move either of us have ever made before.  We were approved to rent a place, but our negotiations with the rental agency and owner failed, so we walked away from the table.  In the end, by the grace of God, we found another place. And within less than a week before we had to move out of the guesthouse, we received approval to lease it. God provided a place for us to stay at the "eleventh hour". It's a two-story, four-bedroom, two and a half bath home with a private back yard. It even has a playground for the children. Praise the Lord!

But even once we were approved and signed the lease, we encountered many trials and difficulties in the process of moving.  For example, something happened with our mover during the last thirty minutes before our scheduled move time, and we were left without help.  All our belongings were packed and ready to be loaded into a truck, the guesthouse was cleaned and we were ready to go on time, but we now had nobody to move us, and no truck. Len asked a few neighbors and called a local pastor, but nobody was able to help us. He decided to rent a truck and managed to find a mover who could move us the next morning, whom we will call Bill.  So we stayed an extra night at the guesthouse, still within our allowed time limit to stay until April 30th.

The next day we moved without a problem, and the Lord gave Len an opportunity to share his testimony with the mover that rode in the truck with him, whom we will call Don.  It turned out that both Don and Bill are Christian men, but Bill said he is not walking with the Lord as he should.  He also asked Len to pray for Don, as well. It seemed like the Lord had put it together, and we were all very grateful for their help, as well as our time of sharing together. Praise the Lord.

Meanwhile, we are shopping for furniture.  Thank the Lord that the place we are leasing came with all the major appliances, including a washer and dryer.  But we have been staying in furnished homes since we returned from Hungary, and we don't have furniture of our own, except some office furniture. So it's like starting all over again.  We are managing fine with air mattresses, folding chairs, and folding tables that we bought to get us through temporarily for a few weeks or months until we can furnish the place.  Meanwhile some of us are still living out of suitcases, but nobody is complaining. It's an adventure! Please pray the Lord will help us find all that we need.

Since we have been in this house, the children have begun to make new friends and play with them.  One of the young girls in the neighborhood told Christopher that she hasn’t gone to church in a while.  Later, while the children were talking with her, Faith asked her, “May I ask you something?” The girl said she could, so Faith asked, “Do you know that Jesus loves you?” The girl said she does. Then Faith asked, “Do you know Him as your Lord and Savior?” The girl nodded. “Good,” Faith said. Sometime during the conversation, the girl said, “I beg my parents to let me go to church, but my mother and father are busy.”  Pray that the Lord will enable this girl and even her parents to eventually join us for church here in our home.

Christopher celebrating his tenth birthday
Meanwhile the children have resumed home schooling and will soon be taking their final exams, Lord willing. One advantage of living here is that there is a home school coop in the area that is connected with a local Church. And a nearby Christian neighbor, who came and introduced herself to Jennifer, mentioned that she home schools her children as well. So we are grateful for the new relationships we are already beginning to build here.

In May, two days after we moved to the new location, we celebrated Christopher's tenth birthday.  Since we didn't have chairs, we were sitting on milk crates around a folding camping table.  So that's why he appears a little low in the birthday cake photo above.  But we had fun with it and it was a joyful time, as you will see if you look at the additional photos at the link below.

Ministry: We are now living in a mostly military community that is close to Fort Bragg, home of the Airborne and Special Forces Operations. The Special Warfare Center is where the U.S. Army’s special operations warriors are trained and prepared for assignments around the world.

We have been told that seventy-five percent of the population in the subdivision where we now live is comprised of military residents, and perhaps the majority of the remaining twenty-five percent are retired military personnel. Many people are able to retire from the military in their early forties, so most of the community seems to be our age or younger.

Before we moved here, as we were praying about where we should live, we spent some time together waiting on the Lord about that. Len sensed the Lord was saying it would be within a forty-five minute radius of the guesthouse where we were living.  But he didn't want to consider moving south or southeast of the guesthouse toward Fort Bragg, because we had read that the crime rate is very high in that area.

Nevertheless, Len sensed the Lord may want to use us to reach and minister to military servicemen and women (he himself got saved as a young soldier in the Army), so he felt he could not rule out the possibility of living in that area. He figured that if it turned out that the Lord was speaking the same thing to Jennifer, then he would take that as a confirmation and he would be open to such a move. And as we later discussed what we each received from the Lord in prayer that night, we did in fact both sense that the Lord may have us to minister to the military servicemen in the Fort Bragg area.  Neither of us had any natural desire within ourselves to move into this area, but we felt that we were being led by the Lord to do so.

The home we moved into is forty minutes south of where we were living at the guesthouse, and about twenty minutes north of Fort Bragg. So the fact that we ended up in this area seems to be precisely according to the direction we received from the Lord, and it seems to be a step forward into the territory where the Lord wants us during this next year.  We feel as though we have been divinely and strategically positioned.

Many of these people around us are in positions of influence and are often deployed to various places around the world. So the potential for multiplying disciples is great, and it's no wonder there seemed to be such strong opposition to us coming here. Please pray that the Lord would place military people in our path who are ready for the gospel, and who will be later be used by the Lord to reach many others for Christ here and in the uttermost parts of the earth.

We have already begun to get a taste of that as we have started to meet our neighbors.  As we took a walk in the neighborhood one night recently, we stopped and talked to one neighbor, who was sitting on his front porch. As we spent time getting acquainted with him and his wife, Len had the opportunity to share the Lord with him. We learned that he is an Army officer who recognizes that he needs the Lord. We both appreciated how he was honest with himself and us about his spiritual condition. So we are praying for these precious people, whom we will call "Steve" and "Nancy", and are looking forward to the chance to share further with them, as the Lord allows.

Meanwhile, we still believe the Lord will continue to have Len go on short-term ministry trips overseas for the time being, and continue with the Christian literature ministry online.  Len continues to receive encouraging notes from readers regarding his articles.  One reader commented by saying:
"Dear Len, Thank you very much for your incredible teaching. Be blessed abundantly."  Praise the Lord for the way He is touching lives for eternity through this ministry.

"Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." (Ps 115:1)

April Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In March and April, we continued diligently with our search for another place to live. At the time of this newsletter, we have less than two weeks to move out of the guesthouse we are living in. We actually should move within one week from now, in order to allow for last minute follow up tasks that may occur after our move!

It has been challenging to find a place, but our application was just approved for a specific rental property located within twenty minutes of Fort Bragg, which is three quarters of an hour's drive from where we live now. It has three bedrooms, two and a half baths, plus a bonus room, and a huge back yard. It certainly seems like it would meet our basic requirements, and we sense the Lord wants us in that specific neighborhood for His glory.

We also hope to negotiate with the owner on the monthly rate, as well as other aspects of the lease, now that we have received approval on our application. So we continue with packing for the move, as well as house cleaning, while we negotiate for a better deal.  Please pray the Lord will help us to get this home under the best possible arrangements that can be negotiated, according to His perfect will.

Meanwhile, we are to a certain extent also shopping out furniture and appliances.  We were blessed to receive some gifts of towels and a dinnerware set from a deacon and his wife that are part of the church, which rents the guesthouse to us. And a pastor's wife who manages the guesthouse has offered to let us take the pillows and buy us a couple sets of bed linen. Praise the Lord!

In March Len did have that painful tooth extracted, so thanks for your prayers about that, as everything went well.  Thank the Lord for that!

More photos.

Ministry:  You may remember one of Len's Hungarian disciples, named Gabor, had moved to Germany without his wife and children, in order to try to make a better living for his family. He did that around the same time we were returning to the States in May 2013.  He visits his wife and children in Hungary for one week per month plus some extra weeks for an extended period during the winter.  They also visit him occasionally in Germany. Well, we have some good news to report. He wrote to Len in March and stated in part: "I'm in Germany at the moment, till next Friday! Kriszti and Bendi will join me in the end of May!...With love, Gabor."  So this is great news. Praise the Lord that their long awaited reunion will soon take place next month. Please pray that it will go smoothly and nothing will interfere with it.

Len received an encouraging note from brother Mapindu in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.  he wrote:

"Dear Leonard Lacroix, I greet you in Jesus' Name. Are you in a good health? I would like to inform you that your emails are useful in evangelism. We hope we will continue to share the Good News with you because it is for us an encouragement. May God bless you. Reverend Mapindu Kibibi Jean Pierre."

Len continues to write articles and minister to those who reach out to him for help through the blogs, such as the backslidden man who indicated he wanted to return to Christ.  Unfortunately, that man in Texas, named Dan, never did speak with Len in spite of his attempts to reach him. It seems that he doesn't have the willpower to take the first step towards repentance and returning to the Lord.

We also continue to touch lives for Jesus by witnessing to people locally. We did get to witness to Melanie, the widow of the man we witnessed to last fall, named Eddie, who died four weeks after we had spoken to him. In response to our attempts to reach out to her, we observed that she has been rather evasive.  So Len only briefly shared the gospel with her, and she politely listened, but showed no interest unfortunately.  We also had the opportunity to share at length with a realtor, named Linda, who showed us a home.  She is one of many who has been deceived by the corrupted New World Translation of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and their false teachings.

On a more strategic note, we believe we are receiving some new direction from the Lord in terms of the next step for our ministry, in addition to what we have already reported to you in the "Ministry" section of our February Update 2015. This new direction pertains to stateside ministry to a targeted people group in North Carolina, during the periods when Len is not traveling on short-term trips. The Lord seems to be confirming what we received in prayer, as we take steps of simply obedience. So we will report on that later as it develops further.  Please continue to pray for the Lord's will to be done and for Him to help us transition into the next phase of our ministry.  We seek to be led by the Holy Spirit.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Ro 8:14)

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest some articles Len has recently written called Philosophy and Empty Deception, Hope for You, Rachael Mushala Third Testimony of Hell, Gabriel Doufle Kokou Testimony of Heaven and Hell, and Is it a Sin to Take Medicine?  All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - April 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For the successful extraction of Len's tooth.
  2. For the good health the Lord has blessed us with.
  3. For the opportunity to trust Him for another home and the one we have found that could meet our needs.
  4. For the lives being touched for Christ around the world through our writing ministry.
  5. For the many words of encouragement we have received from people.
  6. For the Lord's strategic direction.
  7. For the gifts of towels and a dinnerware set we have received from a deacon and his wife, as well as the pillows and bed linen we have been offered.
  8. Praise the Lord that Gabor's long awaited reunion with his wife and son will soon take place next month.
Next steps and prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help us to get this rental home, which we have applied for, under the best possible arrangements that can be negotiated, according to His perfect will (There are currently some onerous provisions in the lease). Or else, if this is not the one, then for another four-bedroom, two-or-more-bath home for rent within our price range.
  2. For the Lord to provide us with all the various accouterments we will need to furnish and equip it.
  3. For the Lord to give Len guidance and provision regarding his planned, short-term trips later this year to Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
  4. For the Lord to send his angels with Len’s messages to those who need them, and for an open heaven over them when they receive his messages.
  5. For the Lord to help Gabor move his family to Germany smoothly and that nothing will interfere with those plans.
  6. For the Lord to put a hedge of protection around our ministry president, Dr. Stenhouse, and multiply to him an abundance of grace, mercy, peace, and wisdom, as well as grant him good health.
  7. For the Lord to open new doors of opportunity for ministry for us, and that we would be fruitful.
  8. For the Lord to continue to raise up new faith partners.
  9. For the Lord to provide for us.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

March Update 2015

Greetings from North Carolina in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We're pleased to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In February, Faith composed and recorded a new song all by herself, which is excellent.  You can listen to it online at this link for He is My Rock.

Hope also recorded a song that Len got from the Lord many years ago, called Someone's Watching Over Me.  The Lord gave Hope another nugget of wisdom that we posted on her Words of Hope blog, called We All Need the Mercy of God.

The children continue to do well in home school.  Joseph has been using his new writing skills to write things like, "Jesus is God," "God is love," "Jesus is love," and "Jesus is Lord." And the children have recently added some new artwork to A Brush with Life. You can find their Recent Artwork here.

In March we also celebrated Len's forty-ninth birthday.  Notice the bright glow in the picture above from all the candles! It just gets brighter and brighter, although Jennifer spared him too much brightness by using four candles beside a group of nine candles. With his age has also come the difficulty of having a painful, abscessed tooth.  He has been prayerfully considering whether to get it extracted or have a root canal. As of the date this newsletter is released he has made an appointment to have a root canal at the end of the month. Please pray that will go well.

Meanwhile, we have continued diligently with our search for another place to live. At the time of this newsletter, we have less than six weeks to move out of the guesthouse we are living in, and the church has informed us it is a firm date!  Initially when we saw that owning a home and making mortgage payments to the bank is cheaper than renting a home and making payments to a landlord, we had planned on buying instead of renting.  But now after praying about it, we feel the Lord may be cautioning us not to go into debt, since debt is not of God.  Therefore, we have redirected our focus on homes for rent in North Carolina. We need a four-bedroom, two-or-more-bath home within our price range, which will need to be quite limited due to our income level being what it is.

Once we find a place and move in, we will need to furnish it from A to Z with furniture, appliances, utensils, cooking ware, dinnerware, lawn equipment, and every other accoutrement a home needs, since we do not own most of these things any more after being overseas for nearly five years. The Lord will provide all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, as we trust Him one day at a time. This is a major need that we are requesting prayer for at this time.  Please join us in praying specifically for this, so we can be moved into a new place before April 30th.

More photos.

Ministry:  Len is still in contact with the pastors from Burma, regarding a possible ministry trip sometime this year.  The visa issue seems to be the main issue right now, and it is not a small one.  He proposed the idea of meeting the pastors in Malaysia, since no visa would be required for Len to go there. They have both expressed an interest in that idea, and Len has been in contact with friends in Malaysia about such a trip, most likely to happen in the fall, to see if they could host him and these pastors.   Please pray for the Lord's will to be done.

The Lord continues bringing to us new friends from other parts of the world as well, such as a sister from South Africa named Susan Waigwa, who reads Len's articles and corresponds with us occasionally. She wrote to us in February the following note:

"Just thought of writing to tell you that may the Lord bless you greatly for the wonderful work He is doing in you and through your ministry.  I love and enjoy reading your blogs.  It is very interesting that I always think of your family as part of my family.  I never cease to pray for you brethren.  I love the way you approach and teach about holiness and righteousness.  I have found a Caucasian family (yourselves) from another mother who have the same spirit and mind like me and are headed the same direction with me.  I have tried sharing your articles and have been met with opposition, but I pray that the light of Jesus will shine in the dark parts of those that I have shared with and they will bow their knee to holiness and righteousness. God bless you greatly and continue.  The best that I can do is pray for you because I am not able to help financially."

Len also communicated with a young man named Divad, who was reading and commenting on a number of his blogs.  At first, Divad seemed skeptical, but later he came to realize the truth after diligently searching God's Word.  He eventually wrote about this in a comment on the article, Sins That Will Keep You From Heaven, saying:

"Thanks for the encouragement; through my searching, GOD has been giving me quite a few revelations, recently, and I think I'm really coming to terms with the gravity of this Word that I've never encountered in the Church before."

Len also received an email in February from a backslidden Christian named Dan.  He wrote:

"Mr. LaCroix, I am backslidden, but I want to return to Christ.  But I cannot seem to find the willpower to turn from my sin and return to Christ.  Is there any hope for me?  Would you possibly be available to talk and pray with me?  I thank you for your writings and desire to do God's work.  Thank you, Daniel."

Elizabeth (left) with Mom in May 2013
You may remember a very poor lady named Elizabeth and her mother, who gave their lives to Jesus in Hungary in December 2012 when we visited their home.  At that time we had prayed for her to be healed, and she felt in her body that she was being healed.  However, she continued to be very ill since then whenever we would occasionally check on her. Last month on February 12th, Len was led to send an email to brother Gabor in Hungary to see how Elizabeth  was doing. He wrote back on the 17th to inform Len that she had died the very same day that Len had written to ask about her! It seems like the Lord was letting us know that she made it home safely.  He said she had spent her last weeks in the hospital in really bad shape. Gabor and others there had begun to organize baptizing her, as she had a strong desire to get baptized! But in the end they were too late, and did not manage to do so before she died.

Len also received a very encouraging email from sister Rachael Mushala in Zambia, whom Len has previously written about in numerous articles, including Rachael Mushala Testimony of Hell and Rachael Mushala Second Testimony of Hell.

She said, "I met a prophet and he told me about you. I was amazed.”  Len asked her to elaborate, so she first indicated all the accurate things this prophet said to her about herself and her sister by phone, although she had never met him yet.  Those things positively confirmed her prophetic ministry. Then when she met for fellowship outside his home on March 7, this is what happened. She stated: "We were outside the house, when the pastor came. He told me, 'When I was approaching the house, when I saw you, God showed me that you are a seer. You have the grace to see visions. And you also have the grace to receive messages from angels.'" She explained that this pastor is a Zambian man in a small town near the city where she lives, and the Lord uses him greatly.

She continued, "Then we began talking about the messages and visions. And he told me that its very important those messages are gotten out to as many people as possible. Then he told me that God was showing him that there's a man who supported us so much and really promoted the messages and helped to get them out. That's you! God remembers you. I was amazed because he doesn't even know about you or your blogsite."  Praise the Lord for remembering us!

That happened during the weekend of Len's birthday, and some other events also happened to her that weekend, which confirmed some things the Lord was speaking to Len at that time.  He has written about them in Rachael Mushala Third Testimony of Hell. We hope you don't miss it.

Administrative: The Directors of Doulos Missions International have recently voted unanimously to appoint to the board three new members, one of which is Jennifer, who is now serving in the office of Secretary. The other two people are British brothers who have known each other for twenty-seven years.

Olugbenga Oladejo
One of those brothers is Olugbenga Oladejo, a Nigerian-born man, who is the pastor of Complete in Christ Church in Peterborough, England. He has been married to his wife Hope for twelve years, and together they have two daughters. He has a great big heart of love, a wonderful call of God upon his life, and the Lord uses him in powerful ways to touch the lives of people for Jesus Christ. Sometimes people come from a distance to see him for deliverance or they call him for counseling and prayer. He became a Chartered Accountant in 1999, which is the equivalent to a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the USA. He later decided to change career to become Software Engineer. Then in 2008 he obeyed the Lord's previous call on his life into ministry.  He and Len have become great friends, and it is with pleasure that we welcome him to the board.  You may recall that Len recently wrote an article about him entitled, A Warning for Married Christian Couples.

Omolade Moses Alabi
The other brother is a small business owner in London, England, named Omolade Moses Alabi.  He was born in England, but raised in Nigeria. He has been married for twenty years to his wife, Celestina. Together they have four children, three boys and a girl. He gave his life to the Lord Jesus in 1988, and is currently forty-eight years old. Len recently write an article about his amazing testimony, called Born Again to New Life - Omolade Moses Alabi.

The addition of Jennifer and these two brothers has strengthened our ministry board.

"Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." (Ps 115:1)

Resources:  This month we would like to suggest some articles Len has recently written called, A Peculiar People, Gabriel Doufle Kokou Testimony of Heaven and Hell, Born Again to New Life - Omolade Moses Alabi, Unhealthy Competition, Synching Up the Seven Seals with the Gospels, and Is Contraception a Sin? -- a Divine Revelation. All of Len's latest articles are available at Old News That's Still Fresh - March 2015. Len's entire collection of his most popular blogs are at Writing for the Master.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For Len's birthday celebration in March.
  2. For the good health the Lord has blessed us with.
  3. For the lovely new artwork and calligraphy He has enabled the children to create.
  4. For the opportunity to trust Him for another home.
  5. For the willingness of our new board members to serve and the board's decision to appoint them!
  6. For the lives being touched for Christ around the world through our writing ministry.
  7. For the many words of encouragement we have received from people.
Next steps and prayer needs:
  1. For healing of the infection in Len's abscessed tooth and for the root canal to go well at the end of the month.
  2. For the Lord to send his angels with Len’s messages to those who need them, and for an open heaven over them when they receive his messages.
  3. For the Lord to put a hedge of protection around our ministry president, Dr. Stenhouse, and multiply to him an abundance of grace, mercy, peace, and wisdom, as well as grant him good health.
  4. For the Lord to give Len guidance and provision regarding the potential short-term trip to Malaysia to meet with the pastors from Burma.
  5. For the Lord’s guidance regarding a planned ministry trip to the United Kingdom.
  6. For the Lord to provide us with a four-bedroom, two-or-more-bath home for rent within our price range, along with all the various accouterments we will need to furnish and equip it.
  7. For the Lord to open new doors of opportunity for ministry for us, and that we would be fruitful.
  8. For the Lord to continue to raise up new faith partners.
  9. For the Lord to provide for us.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

with love from all of us,

The Lacroixs
