October Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family
: In October, we celebrated Jennifer's birthday by taking her out to dinner as a family. She is also taking a special trip to West Virginia for several days to visit with her parents. Please pray that her trip will be safe and enjoyable, and that she will have a blessed time visiting with her parents. She will also have the opportunity to visit with her brother and his family while she is there as well.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its tenth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Nigeria, and Uganda.

Since our last update, three of our graduates in South Sudan, Uganda, and Nigeria have continued their evangelistic outreaches to various communities across their respective countries, and the Lord continued to bring in a harvest. You can read the details and see photos of what happened at the following links:

Uganda Highlights
Our brother Grace in Uganda has seen the Lord doing amazing things. In one village they saw many children and parents come to Christ as a result of their preaching. He wrote:

"Hi, dear brother Len,

"It has been a 3-day, door-to-door evangelism here in Kalaki...My friends, the children, who introduced me to their parents, gathered with their parents after door-to-door evangelism, and embraced the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior! In attendance were more than 50 people, in a village that has many street children doing a lot of burglary, breaking into people's homes, theft, murders, etc. It's now a transformation with a lot of thanks to the Lord God!

"Today we had to organize a fellowship meal together with the children and some parents, thanking God for what He is doing! This has never happened in most of these villages, and has turned out to be a big children's fellowship; pray with us, as we plan to have these kinds of arrangements once in a while as the Lord enables.

Thank you.

Blessings, brother.

Bro Grace"

Brother Grace is also having water wells dug in three different places within Kalaki, where the children have been going out with jugs to fetch dirty, ground water for domestic use.

At Len's suggestion, he and our teams in the other two African countries are transitioning now to conserve the harvest that has been reaped. Brother Grace wrote in part:

"Conserving the harvest is really a priority now; water baptism, baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire, and discipleship. This should be done in places such as Otucopi, Odokomit, Nakatunya, in Soroti; then Mbale, Kampala in 2 locations, Otuboi in Kalaki, Ongole, and Awaliwal, Ojukot in Kalaki.

"We need to appoint elders and pastors in these areas for the churches urgently. I am consider traveling to these locations with a smaller team of six. Yes, brother, there will be many congregations.

"Brother Len, what God has put in your heart about the new congregations is exactly what we had been talking about as a mission's team, we thank God for the confirmation. What you have shared with me is very, very right, urgent, and timely!

"We thank God, dear brother, for His grace and guidance,

"God bless you,

Bro Grace."

The Lord also miraculously healed him of a nasty flu on one occasion, when he had fever, chills, headache, and body aches, which were preventing him from conducting the ministry. That amazing story is at this link: Nasty Flu Miraculously Cured. Praise the Lord!

South Sudan Highlights
Brother Henry has continued to see the Lord do equally remarkable things in South Sudan.

A number of people got saved out of a cult, one of whom was a man named William. The cult members were so angry about his salvation that they came with logs and beat him around the face and head, causing significant injuries and swelling that required medical care at the hospital. They also used an old loan that had been given to him three years ago, which he was never told he would have to repay, as an excuse to have him arrested and detained by the authorities. But the Lord enabled brother Henry to negotiate his release on bond. Later William's boss fired him, when he resisted working on Sundays. This new brother in Christ needs our prayers, especially for healing from his head injuries, and for a new job.

On another occasion, during an outreach, an old man got saved and delivered from alcohol. He asked brother Henry to come to his home, where he had family members, relatives, and others from the community gathered in and around his home, including some under a shelter outside. Brother Henry preached to them and many got saved.

Then on October 10th, one lady was saved and delivered from Marine spirits. Brother Henry wrote:

"She was saying she is the queen of the sea, and she fought much during deliverance, but at last I had a revelation about the necklace she was wearing. I removed it from her neck, and the battle increased greatly, but she was delivered totally, and surrendered her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

"On Saturday night, October 11th, I got a dream that my home in Uganda was sinking, and everything was being destroyed, including the latrine, plus lives lost. I told this to my team to enter into prayers seriously, and I also called my mum in Uganda, and told her to enter into prayers, because God revealed to me an attack.

"On Sunday, October 12th, she was also in prayers and fasting with us. At around 9:00am, my daughter got attacked with severe coldness on the same Sunday we had started the fasting. She was rushed to hospital, and she was put on an IV drip. I called and prayed with her on the phone. They discharged her at around 2:00pm the same day. Then at 3:00 PM, a strong lightning struck the house, and the lights were all broken from the inside of the home to outside. One side of the house got a crack, because the lightning bolt went deep into the ground and caused a trench. The tree next to the house was split into two and dried immediately. The house inside was all full of fire. What is amazing is that my mum and children, plus others, were inside the house, but none of them were affected. They are all alive, except that my mum felt a small pain in her left leg.

"I am still in prayers, and God is doing amazing things in my missions. I thank God, because the devil won't manage to weaken us in any way. I count it a great gain when I see people giving their lives to Jesus!"

Glory to God! His sick daughter is now well. Please pray with us for brother Henry for his continued protection. Now he will need to have substantial repairs done to his home in Uganda following this demonic counter attack against him. He concludes, "Let's remain cheerful in our faith in Jesus' name. More testimonies are coming, as the Holy Spirit is our Helper." If you want to help, please go to the GiveSendGo campaign that we've set up for brother Henry.

We also enrolled a new student in South Sudan, brother Benson (pictured left), a 41-year old brother, who is already getting so much from the Lord since he began his process of applying for enrollment. He got baptized in water by brother Henry, and immediately afterward he was wonderfully baptized with the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

Here is his stated reason for enrolling in the DTS:

"I have come through an encounter with bro Henry, a missionary preaching in South Sudan, and I was touched by his zeal for the gospel. I felt like receiving the same grace for the gospel, because South Sudan is under much persecution. Most preachers don't preach the truth. I approached him, and asked how I can do what he's doing. He said first I should give my life to Jesus, and secondly he will recommend me to DTS that transformed his life for the gospel."

Nigeria Highlights
On one occasion, brother John in Nigeria rode with brother Stephen through the rain on a motorcycle until their bodies were shaking from the cold. They spent time evangelizing, preaching, and praying for people. The responses and acceptance of Christ by their hearers gave them great joy.

On October 8th, after being outfitted with rain gear, as it is rainy season there, brother John wrote: "Although rain fell on us today, I didn’t feel it at all—because I was well covered with my new rain suit, and my heart was filled with joy and passion for what God is doing here.

"Today's outreach to Karu was successful. The community is giving me great joy because of the attention and openness they are showing in receiving the message of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"Right now, we are engaging in house-to-house evangelism. On the last weekend of this month, we will be holding a three-day program in the community until God's light begins to shine brighter and brighter there."

Praise the Lord!

Len sent out his monthly edition of the Old News That's Still Fresh in October, as he usually does each month. We hope you'll take a moment to read the content that he has published.

We shared with you previously about a Christian Iranian refugee family in Turkey, whose twelve-year old son, named Sina (pictured left) is suffering from deafness. He did have his cochlear implant installed in August, but he has been having issues with it. Here is the update we received from Turkey on October 14th:

"There is still some problem with using the device. The external part won't stay in place properly, possibly due to less than complete healing from the surgery. So they are taping it as well, so that Sina can use it, which he is doing and trying to get used to.

They will be seeing the doctor again this week, I think, so let us pray that everything will be sorted out."

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For enabling us to celebrate Jennifer's birthday together.
  2. For all the many amazing testimonies of brothers John, Grace, and Henry.
  3. For bringing to us another new student to train, brother Benson in South Sudan.
  4. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  5. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to give Jennifer a safe and enjoyable trip to West Virginia this week, and a blessed visit with her parents and other family members, whom she hasn't seen in a long time.
  2. For the Lord to help our son, Christopher, to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field.
  3. For the Lord to continue using our brothers Grace, John, and Henry as they transition to conserving the harvest from their evangelistic campaigns in their respective countries, and that the Lord would provide for all the ongoing ministry that is necessary to do so.
  4. For the Lord to provide for brother Henry to have his home repaired following the demonic counter attack, and to provide him with a motorcycle for ministry.
  5. For brother William in South Sudan, who was beaten in the head with logs. He has improved greatly, though sometimes he feels some headache and he takes pain relievers orally. Let's put him in our prayers for a new job, because that brother of his in cultic ministry influenced his boss to fire him, when he resisted working on Sunday.
  6. For the Lord to restore the hearing of Sina, the 12-year-old boy in Turkey.
  7. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  8. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  9. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
  10. For the Lord to open new doors of ministry opportunity.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

with love from all of us,

The Lacroixs

September Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family: In September, Joseph completed his advanced locksmith training and received his advanced certification as a locksmith (see here). Praise the Lord! That was a huge feat that he accomplished with the Lord's help by the grace of God.

We had previously reported that he had been successfully certified as a locksmith, but now he has also completed this second level, which includes advanced techniques for combination locks used in safes and safety deposit boxes, such as the kind used in banks.

We're so pleased that the Lord helped him finish all of this training, which he initially started in mid-November 2024, taking only 10 months to complete it. Thank you for all your prayers for him to that end.

Ministry:
Len traveled to New Hampshire on ministry in August (see photos at link above). Thank you for remembering him in prayer. The Lord truly blessed his trip with His power, presence, and glory that were evident. He preached the gospel on the streets of Manchester, and in the parks with a megaphone. He handed out gospel tracts, did one-on-one personal evangelism, and gave away free copies of his book, A Willing Heart to Please the Father, as well as his written salvation testimony. He met in his hotel room with a friend named Henry in Nashua, who is a brother in Christ, along with his nonverbal adult foster child Patrick, and both of them experienced God supernaturally when Len prayed for them.

Afterward Henry testified: “Wow! My spirit was lifted, refreshed. I’m feeling His glory big time. Patrick had his hands raised in the elevator [afterward]. I truly believe he saw into the supernatural [realm] in your room. He saw something we didn’t.  So so glorious.” Praise the Lord!

Len also met with a family in East Hampstead in their home, and had a wonderful visit ministering to them as well. Since that visit, three out of four members of that family have gotten water baptized (videos in album), which was conducted by one of our board members, Dave Wenrich, who is a retired pastor living in New Hampshire. Praise the Lord! All those who got baptized were already saved, but wanted to get baptized in obedience to God's Word. Please join us in praying for the one family member, Nick, to be saved. Len has since spoken with him by phone, but he is not ready yet.

Len also preached the gospel in a park and a bus station in the downtown area of the city where we live, as he, Jennifer, and the boys joined him there witnessing to people and handing out tracts.

Len also prayed over the phone for our brother John in Nigeria (pictured left), whom you know is one of our graduates there. As Len prayed for him to receive the baptism with holy fire, he had a wonderful experience, which he later began imparting to many others. Please read about that amazing testimony here in this article called, Pastor Shocked Upon Receiving Baptism with Fire. To God be all the glory!

Len sent out his monthly edition of the Old News That's Still Fresh in September, as he usually does each month. But this edition is very special and one you don't want to miss. It contains a lot of urgent, time-sensitive content regarding the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you will take a moment to check it out, especially the first article in it. We know that Jesus is coming very soon, and it's time for all of us to get our lives right with Jesus right now. Len produced a video about this that you can watch right here at this link.

As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its tenth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Nigeria, and Uganda.

Two of our graduates, John in Nigeria (mentioned above), and Grace in Uganda (pictured left), have been conducting end-time evangelistic campaigns in their respective countries, and the Lord has been doing amazing things. Grace is traveling all over Uganda with a team of around twenty people, preaching in churches, evangelizing on the streets and market places, and from outdoor platforms to crowds of people. John is traveling to various towns and villages, as well as a prison, preaching the gospel, and even feeding the people with food that he has prepared.

We have created blog posts for each of them with daily updates and photos, which we invite you to see, because it is more than we can put in our newsletter. But many, many people have been getting saved, healed, and delivered, and the Lord is pouring out His Spirit there through the ministries of these two brothers. What the Lord is doing is nothing short of amazing, and we are not exaggerating! Please visit these blog posts for the latest updates and photos, which are updated daily:

In August, one of our graduates named Henry (pictured left), in South Sudan, took his first furlough back to Uganda with his wife, after serving in South Sudan for four years. They spent three weeks in their home country of Uganda, staying with Henry's mother, where they spent time with their four children and his mother. They were both refreshed by their brief furlough, and have since returned to South Sudan in September. Henry has begun an end-time evangelistic campaign, similar to what brothers John and Grace are doing, which is already having amazing success by the grace of God. People are getting saved, healed, and delivered by the Lord. Please visit the following blog post for the latest updates and photos, which are updated daily:

We'd like to invite you to join us in praying for these three major evangelistic campaigns being conducted in South Sudan, Uganda, and Nigeria, through which we estimate conservatively that  a combined total of approximately 381 to 400 or more people have made decisions for Christ there in the past three weeks. Hallelujah!!

We shared with you previously about a Christian Iranian refugee family in Turkey, whose twelve-year old son, named Sina (pictured left) is suffering from deafness. He did have his cochlear implant installed, but it has not yet been turned on, so he is still waiting for that to happen on Friday the 19th.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For helping and enabling Joseph to complete his advanced locksmith training and receive his advanced certification.
  2. For blessing Len's trip to New Hampshire, helping him to successfully minister to so many people during that time.
  3. For providing for brother Henry and his wife to travel to Uganda on furlough for three weeks, and the wonderful time of refreshing they had there, as well as the emotional healing from trauma that the Lord has brought about in his wife Yepeta.
  4. For the amazing testimonies of brothers John, Grace, and Henry.
  5. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  6. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help our son, Christopher, to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field.
  2. For the Lord to continue using our brothers Grace, John, and Henry in their evangelistic campaigns in their respective countries.
  3. For the Lord to restore Sina's hearing on September 19th when the device is connected.
  4. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  5. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  6. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
  7. For the Lord to open new doors of ministry opportunity.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

August Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family: In July, Joseph completed his locksmith training and received his certification as a locksmith (see link). He cannot practice as a locksmith until he is 18 years old, which is two years from now, at which time he will need to get licensed.

Meanwhile he is now taking lessons in advanced locksmith training. His goal is to finish these as soon as possible, hopefully by the end of August. With the Lord's help and with prayer support, we trust he will complete all of those lessons soon.

Ministry: Len is preparing to travel to New Hampshire on ministry next week. Please remember him in prayer for the Lord to lead, guide, anoint, and use Len for His glory, that the Lord would release the gifts of the Spirit and bring Len into contact with all those whom He wants Len to minister to.

Len sent out his monthly edition of the Old News That's Still Fresh in September, which received a higher than usual number of views. We hope you will take a moment to check it out, especially the first article in it.

As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its tenth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Nigeria, and Uganda.

In August, Len received the following email from one of our graduates in England named Catherine:

Dear brother Len and sis Jennifer.

There have been some miracles of salvation on Thursday afternoon. [One was] Ron, who claimed to be an agnostic and changed his mind after hearing the gospel and got saved. Osman a Muslim young man, asked why [God] commanded  sacrifices, and needed assurance of going to heaven. He also got saved.

A young man from China got saved, and we led him to the City Church where other Chinese people attend. And two young girls also got saved. Two ladies got healed at our Church. I thank and praise our Lord for these miracles of healing and salvation.

Our Lord has asked me to do a three-day fast and to pray on Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th to help bring salvation and more miracles, as time is getting closer to our Lord's return.

I continue to pray for you all and Doulos Mission International for more people to join and grow. I continue to pray for you all.

Bless you all.
With love in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sister Catherine."

Praise the Lord! It's great to see sister Catherine continuing to reach out to strangers with the gospel and see so many getting saved and healed. To God be the glory!

In August, Len received the following message from brother Henry, one of our graduates in South Sudan:

Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I just want to give God praise. My course at DTS changed my attitude and the way I take the Word of God. I read the Word of God on a daily basis, but the dimension at which I receive it has greatly changed.

To me the Word of God is a testimony. A few days ago, the Holy Spirit gave me 1 Peter 4: 13-19. I really count suffering [as] joy when we go through a lot of pain for the sake of Christ. I thank God for ministering to me and giving me an opportunity to serve His people.

Bro Henry."

Praise the Lord for the spiritual growth that brother Henry has experienced, and the way the Lord is encouraging him through the Word. Praise the Lord also for the Lord's provision for them to purchase all the essentials that had been stolen during the recent attack, which was made possible through the generous gifts of those who have given to the crowd funding campaign we posted online.

He and his wife are planning to take a very brief furlough back to their home country of Uganda for about three weeks starting next Tuesday. Please join us in praying for their safety, the safety of their property in South Sudan while they are away, and for the Lord to bless every aspect of their trip, including their reunion with their four children, and for it to be a time of refreshing for them physically and emotionally, since they have not been back home in four years.

We shared with you last month about a Christian Iranian refugee family in Turkey, whose twelve-year old son, named Sina (pictured left) is suffering from deafness. The Lord provided the funds for him through our crowdfunding campaign, so that he can have a cochlear hearing device implanted, which is now scheduled to take place on Monday, August 18th. Thank you to all who helped make that possible through your generous gifts. Please agree with us in prayer for the Lord to restore his hearing.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For helping and enabling Joseph to complete his locksmith training and receive his certification.
  2. For providing for brother Henry and his wife to travel to Uganda on furlough later this month.
  3. For the testimonies of sister Catherine and brother Henry.
  4. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  5. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help our son, Christopher, to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field.
  2. For the Lord to lead, guide, direct, protect, and anoint Len as he travels to New Hampshire next week on ministry, and for the Lord to connect him with those to whom He is supposed to minister.
  3. For the Lord to continue using sister Catherine in healing and evangelism.
  4. For the Lord to heal Sina from deafness and for his surgery on August 18th to go well.
  5. For brother Henry and his wife as they travel to Uganda on furlough later this month for a few weeks, and for Him to refresh them physically and emotionally.
  6. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  7. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  8. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
  9. For the Lord to open new doors of ministry opportunity.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

July Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family
: In June, we went to the beach for three days as a family. While we were there, we walked along the ocean shore, enjoyed beautiful sunsets, and took the ferry. We visited the North Carolina Aquarium as well.

Meanwhile Joseph completed his ninth grade, followed by the Iowa exam, and continues with his locksmith training.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in three nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Nigeria, and Uganda.

In July, Len received the following email from one of our graduates in England named Catherine:

Dear brother Len and sis Jennifer.

On Thursday last week, Sue and John and a few others went street witnessing in the afternoon. Three Muslims got saved. They all said they believed Jesus was a prophet. We explained Jesus is the Son of God and he died for our sins and he is the Savior of all mankind. We explained the Trinity and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They want to learn more so they are coming back tomorrow afternoon.

Two young girls and a Mother who were on drugs got saved, Thank and praise our Lord. And they want to join the Church.

Les, Doug and Andrew said some eight students got saved too. We hope to help them more tomorrow afternoon.

Our Lord told me that revival is coming to many countries soon, and the Rapture and the seven-year Tribulation is nearer, and it's so urgent to witness to the lost. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. So I am fasting and praying more.

At the Evangelical Church I joined, they had a special service on Saturday as twenty people had gotten saved and joined the Church, eleven were teenage college students and nine were adults. Thank and praise our Lord.

Bless you all.
With love in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sister Catherine."

Praise the Lord! We rejoice at the way the Lord is using our sister Catherine in England through her prayer and gospel outreach ministries.

In July, Len received word from brother Henry, one of our graduates in South Sudan that he had been attacked late at night by unknown gunmen in his home, who spent two hours there searching for things to steal like his cell phone, and they stole almost everything, even stole his mattress right off of his bed.

The thieves were preparing to rape his wife, but the Lord spoke through one of the robbers telling the others not to do so.  During the robbery, they were severely beaten with handguns, and his wife sustained painful injury to her back, as well as emotional trauma. He wrote:

"Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so grateful to God for the gift of life and divine protection, my family was attacked by gun men, who robbed almost everything, but didn't touch life. I give God all the glory, and above all I thank God for people who are receiving Jesus Christ in South Sudan. There's a great work that God is doing in this country through the knowledge acquired from DTS.

Bro Henry."

We took up an offering through a GiveSendGo campaign for brother Henry online, and if you would like to contribute, you may still do so at the following link. Upon receiving the love offering, he wrote:

"Dear bro,

I am much grateful, I can't write in words to express my appreciation for the love offering. I really appreciate the support. God is really faithful. Please I am much grateful to God for the support, I am thanking you for the support and please am also humbly extending my thanks to the team that contributed this lovely offering to me for the work of God to continue. We have been speechless on how we are going to start, but this love offering has opened the door for the great start.

Bro Henry."

Please pray that the Lord will restore everything that the enemy has stolen from brother Henry and his wife, that He will heal his wife from her emotional and physical wounds, and that He would always protect them from harm in this dangerous mission field that they are serving in for the sake of Christ and His gospel.

Sister Marina from Bulgaria contacted Len in July to update him about a recent missions trip to Turkey she went on. She met a Christian Iranian refugee family at the church there, whose twelve-year old son, named Sina (pictured left) is suffering from deafness. He was born hearing, but his hearing declined over the years, so that he needed hearing aids. But now the hearing aids are no longer helping him. So we prayed for him over the phone for a miraculous healing. Please agree with us in prayer for the Lord to restore his hearing.

In our May newsletter, we asked you to pray for brother Grace, one of our graduates in Uganda, for the Lord to heal him from the injury to his lower back. Not long after that he reported that his back was feeling better. Praise God for healing him. He wrote to Len in July saying:

"Good afternoon dear bro Len,

Praise the Lord!

I really thank God for what He is doing in my life and ministry! Through what I learned from DTS, God has opened a wide door of like minded people coming together to evangelize our communities for Jesus Christ.

I always go out with our team of men and women. Lots of people are giving their lives to Jesus Christ every week, plus many healings [are happening], glory to God!

Be blessed brother,

Your bro, Grace."

Hallelujah! Keep praying please for our students and graduates like brother Grace that the Lord would continue to multiply disciples through them like this.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For giving us a few days off together at the beach.
  2. For protecting brother Henry and his wife from being killed or seriously harmed by the robbers who attacked them.
  3. For the testimonies of sister Catherine and brother Grace about the souls being saved and people being healed..
  4. For healing brother Grace's lower back.
  2. For the Lord to provide for all the needs of our DTS students and graduates, especially brother Henry and his wife at this time.
  3. For the Lord to continue using sister Catherine and brother Grace in healing and evangelism.

May Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: In May, Christopher graduated from college and earned his Associates in Applied Science Degree in IT Technical Support and Services. He has three electives in general subjects like Psychology and Communications that he must complete over the next nine weeks, beginning on May 19th, and then he'll be done completely. He is a very diligent student and the Lord enabled him to graduate with high honors. You can check out the photos and a 3 second video at the link below.

Now he needs to find a job, because despite his excellent credentials, he has not been hired by anyone during his two-year job search for employment in the IT field. He continues to work part time at the deli though. We also celebrated his twentieth birthday in May with singing, prayer, cards, and gifts.

Meanwhile Joseph continues with his homeschool studies, his locksmith training, and is about to conclude his ninth year of school. He'll be taking the Iowa standardized tests in June, as he does at the end of each school year.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in three nations including Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda.

In May, Len received the following email from one of our students in South Sudan named Amani, who is in her first year:

"Dear brother Len,

I hope this email finds you well.

I really want to thank God for the great things He’s doing in my life through DTS. For sure my life has changed since I joined DTS.

Since 2021, I couldn’t do any service in the church. I could not even pray or read the Bible, but now I can pray, and I’m also preaching the gospel powerfully. Thanks be to God and the DTS family.

Your sister in Christ,
Amani."

Praise the Lord! We rejoice at the way the Lord is using our sister Amani in South Sudan in new ways in the Church through her prayer and gospel preaching ministries. Certainly this is good and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. A special thanks goes to our brother Henry, who is facilitating our students there in South Sudan in a very difficult and challenging environment.

In May, Len received the following testimony from brother Grace, one of our graduates in Uganda:

"Greetings dear brother Len,

The Lord has been so good to us, in that we have seen Him save Muslims during our two weeks of evangelism. They had been going through a series of demonic attacks; but by the time I and my team reached and shared the gospel with them, they readily accepted the Lord, and were delivered. Glory to God!

Bro Grace."

Praise the Lord! It's always wonderful to hear how the Lord continues to bring the lost into His kingdom -- even the Muslims in Uganda. To God be all the glory! Let's pray the Lord would continue to use brother Grace and his team for God's glory like this, and that the Lord would heal him from lower back pain that began recently when he injured his back.

In May, sister Catherine in England, who is one of our recent DTS graduates sent the following update on her ministry activities there.

"Dear brother Len and sister Jennifer,

Thank you for your message. I had a lot of pain in my stomach, after a week of successful witnessing. Three people got saved last week, and three people got healed.

[Among those who were] saved, one girl got healed of cancer, another girl got healed of stomach trouble, and a man got healed of a liver disease and free from drug addiction.

Since then I've had trouble with my stomach.  There is a healing service on Sunday morning at an Evangelical Church. So I'll go on Sunday.

Praying for you all. Bless you all.

With love in Jesus Christ our Lord,
Sister Catherine."

Hallelujah! Let's pray for sister Catherine to be healed from this chronic, recurring stomach pain. It seems like an attack from the enemy who doesn't want her evangelizing as she has been doing. And let's pray the Lord would continue to use her mightily in healing and evangelism.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in May to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For helping Christopher to earn his Associates in Applied Science degree and graduate from college.
  2. For the testimonies of sisters Amani and Catherine, as well as brother Grace.
  3. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  4. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help Christopher to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field, as well as help him with all of his many responsibilities.
  2. For the Lord to provide for all the needs of our DTS students and graduates.
  3. For the Lord to continue using brother Grace for God's glory and heal his lower back.
  4. For the Lord to continue using sister Catherine in healing and evangelism, and heal her from stomach pain.
  5. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  6. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  7. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
  8. For the Lord to open new doors of ministry opportunity.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

April Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in three nations including Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda.

In April, Len received the following email from one of our students in South Sudan named Isaac, who is in his first year:

"Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God for knowledge I have acquired from DTS Light, I feel much zeal for the gospel which I never used to feel before, I started preaching in schools and I see students giving their lives to Jesus, I thank bro Henry for always encouraging to continue and great appreciation to bro Len for the opportunity.

Bro Isaac."

Hallelujah! We rejoice at the way the Lord is using our brother Isaac in South Sudan in new and amazing ways to reach people for Christ there, especially in the schools. We know the Lord is very pleased with his progress and we are, too. His facilitator, brother Henry, is always so diligent to follow up and encourage our DTS students there, as he has done with brother Isaac.

In April, brother Henry in South Sudam, who is one of our DTS graduates and a pastor there serving as our South Sudan Facilitator, sent the following update:

"Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God for the provision towards ministry, sometimes I wonder how ministry is running but God is faithful. I have also witnessed many souls coming to Jesus. It's a great testimony because I am working on an English course to acquire the basic requirement for one to join DTS, DTS transformed my spiritual life greatly and I give God all the glory for seeing lives changing for Christ in South Sudan.

Bro Henry."

Praise the Lord!

In April, Len received the following testimony from brother Grace, on of our graduates in Uganda:

"Greetings dear brother Len and all in Jesus' precious Name!

I pray you are doing well. This month has seen us in ministry experiencing God's hand of healing, deliverance and salvations; healing a neighbor's three-year old boy Victor, who was struggling to breath and was to be operated. Then Dawfin also three-year old daughter to Sarah, a newly born-again sister, was able to walk instantly after prayer, and many more.

Plus God is bringing more laborers for the harvest! We give God all the glory, Amen,

Be blessed brother,

Bro Grace."

Praise the Lord! How great is our God that He is doing such marvelous things through brother Grace's ministry in Uganda. To God be all the glory!

In April, sister Catherine in England, who is one of our recent DTS graduates sent the following update on her ministry activities there.

"Dear brother Len and sister Jennifer,

Since I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire from Len praying over me, my hands have gotten hot a lot, and I feel much closer to our Lord with a burning desire to witness more than before; I also tend now to wake up at 3:00 AM in the morning ,and I pray for people.

I have witnessed [for Christ] more on Thursday afternoons with the local Church group. I witnessed to a Jehovah's Witness whose name is Karen, sharing my testimony. She was very interested, asking to buy my book. So I [later] gave her a copy, and she said by what I told her she is going to leave the Jehovah's Witnesses.  She has asked me to meet her for coffee next week to ask me more questions about faith in Jesus our Lord.

I witnessed to an atheistic African young man, but after he heard my testimony he changed his mind and asked me to write down where he can buy my book, as he said, " I know what you said is true." He said he'd like to talk again about Jesus.

I witnessed to a young girl, who she said she was brought up a Muslim and she is comfortable with her religion, So I said, "Have you ever thought about where you are going when you die, heaven or hell?"
She said, "No, I never thought about  it." I told her that [Mohammad] is a false prophet and that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the only way to the Father and to heaven, every other religion will send people to hell. And told her that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins and invites us to have a personal relationship with him and live on his path in the Holy Spirit. She said, " I have given her something to think about." She then took the information about salvation to read.

I keep giving out tracts on Thursday afternoons, and help with a ladies' counselling group for those with depression.  One lady called Helen can't speak, but writes things down to share with me. I am praying for courage to pray over her for complete healing.

The Doulos Training School is the best [study] I have ever done. I have learned a lot, and they have helped me to witness and answer questions from non believers and new Christians. Thank you so much for all your teaching and support and for all your prayers. I continue to pray for you all.

Bless you all.
With Love in Jesus Christ our Lord
Sis Catherine."

Hallelujah!

Our brother John Abugieye in Nigeria, who is one of our DTS graduates and a pastor there, was finally granted some equipment in March by the Jesus Film Project after waiting for over a year from the time he requested it. Once it was determined that the equipment had arrived in the country, brother John initially received training by phone from the Jesus Film indigenous staff on how to present the film to viewers. Then he traveled a long distance over land and water to retrieve the equipment, even sleeping in a park along the way, saying that he preferred doing so like a missionary, rather than staying in a hotel.

We're glad that he finally got his equipment and made it safely home without incident, so that now he can reach more people for Christ with the film.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in April to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.
