March Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: We celebrated Joseph's sixteenth birthday in February, with cake, cards, gifts, and singing Happy Birthday to him, once he was well enough following the cold that he had last month.

We also celebrated Len's 59th birthday in March with cake, cards, and prayer for him. Praise the Lord for another year.

Christopher is finishing his final two semesters in college, and is currently taking a course that is considered to be the capstone course for his degree program that brings together everything he has learned.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.

Len received the following testimony from brother Henry, one of our DTS graduates in South Sudan. He wrote:

"Dear brother Len,

From Friday I was [conducting] hospital ministry, and there's a lady who needed blood, but there was no blood. So I donated blood, but still it was not enough. I was mobilizing people from outside to donate blood, but I want to thank God she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and also God saved her life.

My brother, the temperature in this country has gone too high to the level that people are dying, schools have been closed, day and night the same thing, still enduring it like that.

Bro Henry."

Praise the Lord for what He did through brother Henry, especially that sick lady who got saved. Hallelujah!

In February, Len received the following testimony from brother Grace, on of our graduates in Uganda:

"Greetings dear brother Len,

In the past few weeks I have seen God's hand of Salvation whenever I went out, Over 17 people gave their lives to the Lord.

Meanwhile a girl by the name Cathy was delivered from madness and completely restored. As a result, souls in that village of Oriamai in Anyara came to the Lord. I go there once in a week for follow up and starting LTGs. Glory to God!

Your bro Grace."

Amen! Glory to God! It's great to hear of so many people getting saved, and about the lady getting delivered from demons, as well as the establishment of discipleship groups, known as Life Transformation Groups (LTGs). Hallelujah!

Len received the following email from a brother in Christ whom he ministered to in February. This brother had missed seeing Len when he was ministering in New England, in the US last year, so Len met with him by phone recently when asked to do so. During the call, he received deliverance, as well as the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Here is the brother's description of that experience:

Hi Len,

I want to personally thank you for taking the time to talk with me and help me connect with God! It was truly a wonderful session, and on a scale of 1 to 10, this might have just hit it right out of Fenway Park! You are undoubtedly a man of God, your voice filled with passion, and it’s clear that you love what you do. Please continue touching the souls around you, as you truly have a gift! I gained so much from this experience that words can hardly express how blessed I feel right now. If there’s anything I can do to support your family or your ministry, please let me know. I’ll keep in touch.

Blessings,
Mike."

Praise the Lord! To God be all the glory for the great things He has done in Mike's life. In a subsequent call with him, he received the baptism with fire. As he received the holy fire, he had a vision of himself all ablaze with fire. He felt a pins and needles sort of tingling sensation begin at his head and expand throughout his body from there. He also had a vision of his heart aflame. He had a sensation of icy heat (similar to the Icy Hot muscle rub cream), even though he had the window open in the office at work where he was and it was around 19 degrees F outside. He felt like he could run 10 miles, too. He doesn’t drink caffeine, but felt as if he had just drunk two Red Bulls. Praise the Lord!

In March, sister Catherine in England graduated from her three years of DTS training. We held a graduation ceremony, in which she was presented with her certificate of completion, after which we prayed for her, including prayer to receive the baptism with holy fire (Mt 3:11). She testified afterward saying:

"Dear brother Len, sister Jennifer, and Dave,

Thank you so much for the Graduate day and time with you all.
And thank you for all your prayers and the prayer for the  baptism of Holy Fire.  I have been praying for our Lord to show me more of his love. And when I received the Holy Fire Baptism tonight. I felt our Lord's presence so strong and a lot of heat and tingling from head to toe. I still feel the heat and tingling and our Lord's presence.

Jesus is so wonderful and his love is so awesome. He showed me so much love through the Holy Spirit and all of you tonight. Thank you so much. I will keep in touch and I know I will be able to witness more, with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire and abiding in Jesus.

Praying for you all.
Bless you all.

With love in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sis Catherine"

Hallelujah!

In March, Len received the following testimony from brother John, one of our DTS graduates in Nigeria. He wrote:

"Hello brother Len:

"My recent evangelical outreach program titled 'Life Beyond the Grave' to the Ukwel Obudu community in Obudu Local Government Area was a successful souls revival program. God helped me as I searched for the vital true life testimony of Pastor Victor Paul, who truly died and spent three days in the mortuary before Jesus brought him back to life.

"I showcased his testimony for two days using my projector, and I preached on the last day on the topic I received in my dream: 'Be the Light.' Many souls were revived during that program, including some pastors, and most backsliders were touched and returned to their faith.

"Because of how touching the testimonies were, many souls repented. Someone even freely gave us his generator to use and pleaded with me to repeat the program in other areas of their community. He willingly offered to rent chairs in case I plan another program in his community again. This is God's doing."

Praise the Lord for the souls saved during brother John's outreach. As the Scripture says, "My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins." (James 5:19-20).

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in March to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For blessing us with such wonderful birthday celebrations for Joseph and Len.
  2. For the testimonies of brothers, Grace, Henry, and Michael, especially the hospitalized lady who gave her life to Jesus in South Sudan and the seventeen people who got saved in Uganda and in Nigeria.
  3. For the wonderful testimony of sister Catherine about what the Lord did during her graduation ceremony.
  4. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  5. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help Christopher to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field, as well as help him with all of his many responsibilities.
  2. For the Lord to heal Christopher's fingers completely with no pain or loss of feeling.
  3. For the Lord to help all our students in their studies.
  4. For the Lord to provide for all the needs of our DTS students and graduates.
  5. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  6. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  7. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

with love from all of us,

February Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary in February by taking a little time away together for a couple days at an Inn located not far from where we live. That was the first getaway we've taken for our anniversary since we've been back in the States.

Joseph was healed from the cold that he had last month, but then he and Christopher both got sick again this month with a cold. Please pray for a full recovery for him and Christopher, and that the Lord will keep Jennifer from getting sick with the cold they have, as she seems to be resisting it.

Joseph turned 16 years old in February, so we sang Happy Birthday to him and prayed for him. But since he was and still is sick, he decided to postpone his birthday party until he's feeling better. So we're hoping to celebrate that next week on Tuesday. On Joseph's birthday, Len also celebrated his 39th spiritual birthday since coming to know Jesus in 1986. Praise God for another year of His faithfulness and keeping power.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.

Sister Catherine, our student in England, finished her DTS studies this month, and will be graduating next month. Here is what she had to say about it:

"Dear brother Len and sister Jennifer,

Now that I have nearly completed the Doulos Training School studies, I have had my mind completely renewed from growing up in Churches that teach a watered down gospel. I have learned all about the true gospel through these wonderful studies, and I have grown a lot in our Lord.

So now I am more prepared to teach and witness to the lost, and to other Christians who still live in the 'ideal' of the watered down gospel. Some people are asking me questions that I am now able to answer with the true gospel.

Len prayed over me a few times for healing of my stomach, which has been healed, and a bad cough that I had is also healed, so I thank him and our Lord for this wonderful Doulos Missions International Ministry.

I trust our Lord that through him and the Holy Spirit, that I will be a successful witness to the lost and continue in the will of God. I am eternally grateful. Many Thanks. May your Doulos Missions grow and bless many people in the future. I am praying for you all. Bless you all.

With Love in Jesus Christ our Lord,

Sister Catherine."

Praise the Lord for helping her complete her three years of training. What an amazing accomplishment! We have watched her grow in the Lord and watched the Lord using her in greater ways than ever before. It's obvious that the Lord has wonderful plans for her life that she has now been equipped for.

In March, one of our former students in Kenya, brother Stanley, will be returning to finish his studies. He had taken time off from the DTS due to living in a Muslim village with electrical power issues where he was teaching in a school. He has recently been married, and is now ready to resume his training with us. So we are looking forward to having him back.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in February to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For His faithfulness in our marriage, enabling us to celebrate 28 years together.
  2. For the wonderful testimony of sister Catherine about what the Lord has done in her life to equip her for works of service that He has prepared for her to do.
  3. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  4. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.

  3. For the Lord to heal Joseph and Christopher from a cold, and keep Jennifer from catching it.
  4. For the Lord to help all our students in their studies.
  5. For the Lord to provide discipleship partners for our DTS students that are in need of one for the Life Transformation Group (LTG).

January Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: As we begin the New Year, we believe that we're in the end times and we must stay close to the Lord. The Scripture says that there must be a great falling away (apostasy) in the last days before the Lord returns, and we don't want to be deceived by the enemy into being a part of that. We know you don't either. So let's all draw close to the Lord and seek His face.

Joseph and Faith were very sick with colds, but the Lord has been healing them, and they are better now, but Faith is still symptomatic. Praise the Lord! Please pray for a full recovery for Faith.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.

Brother Henry, who is one of our graduates in South Sudan, as well as our National Facilitator there, shared the following testimony with Len in January:

"Dear bro Len,

In 2021, I was invited to preach in a state called Yambio, which is in the western equatorial part of South Sudan. It's a bit far from Juba, so the team that wanted me to go there sent the money for booking the flight to their friend in Juba to book it for me. He communicated the dates and time, but yet he used the money, and didn't book at all. The time came, I went to the airport, and the following day the conference and crusade was arranged. When I reached there ready to travel, my name was not in the list of those traveling. I was confused. I wanted to leave immediately, but in my spirit I said, 'No, let me wait.'

People started boarding, and after they had all entered the plane, a man came and greeted me. He asked if I was pastor Henry. I said, 'Yes.' I asked for his name, and he told me he is called Paul. I asked if he was working with South Supreme company, and he said, 'Yes.' Then he held my hand and made me to enter. I had not received even the boarding pass, my name is not on the list, and I didn't pay any money.

We reached our destination, and they started collecting the boarding pass, but I didn't have one. They questioned me how I entered. I told them one person called Paul allowed me in. They checked, tried to call the head office, but they didn't have any worker by the name of Paul. They decided to let me go because I was going for the work of God.

When I was reading about how angels manifest to us, I immediately remembered this [experience], and I believe that must have been an angel of God that came to my rescue, because everybody was calling me, [asking], 'Are you coming [to the crusade]?', I really give God the glory."

Wow! Praise the Lord for sending His angel to help brother Henry board a plane without a ticket and fly to his destination to preach the gospel in South Sudan. That was truly a miracle. It reminds me of the angel named Paul that helped our student Catherine in England when she was lost as a youth.  You can read about that here.

In January, Len received the following email from sister Amani, one of our new students in South Sudan:

"Dear bro Len,

I have been getting dreams when I am preaching, telling people Jesus is coming, turn away from your sins, the time is now. This has happened to me many times, and one time I shared with a friend what I was going through, but she only asked me if I am a pastor or want to be a pastor.  Another time I got a dream, [in which] there was a pit in front, people had lined up moving towards that pit. They were all moving while dancing and celebrating, but [unaware] where they were going; they were all going to perish in that deeper pit. I was shouting at them, 'Stop, you are going to die,' but none of them listened. Others started falling into the pit, but still others were coming. I woke up from the dream like it was a reality, [with] too much fear inside me. I just prayed about it and slept again.

Sister Amani."

Praise the Lord for the dreams He has been giving to sister Amani, including this one about people needlessly falling into the pit of hell, while remaining oblivious that it's there until it's too late. Please remember her in prayer for healing from pain, bleeding, and dizziness that she has been having in her pregnancy. The doctors do not believe the baby is in danger.

In January, Len also received the following email from brother Isaac in South Sudan, who's a new student in the DTS.

"Dear bro Len,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope my mail finds you well.

I was much transformed since I joined DTS, in terms of my prayer journal, spiritual growth, discovering my purpose for God, and understanding His mystery. l also thank God for transforming individuals, partners, families, and societies with the LTG formed.

Yours faithfully,

Bro Isaac."

Praise the Lord.

Brother John in Nigeria, who is one of our DTS graduates and a pastor there, sent in the following New Year's testimony recently:

"I am truly grateful for the incredible journey that God has placed before me in my ministry efforts to reach out to ageing widows and prisoners with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, I felt a strong calling to begin my outreach with the ageing widows and some less privileged individuals in our community.

"To show them the love and compassion of Christ, I prepared delicious rice and beans with assorted dried fishes, a simple yet heartfelt meal that brought smiles and joy to their faces. It is my sincere belief that through these acts of kindness, we can reflect the love of Jesus and provide comfort to those who often feel forgotten.

"I would like to express my profound gratitude to DTS for the impactful teachings and training on how to make disciples. Their guidance has been instrumental in shaping my approach to ministry, equipping me with the tools needed to effectively share the gospel and nurture others in their faith journey.

"May God continue to prosper DTS and bless their efforts in equipping others to fulfill the Great Commission. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve, bringing light to the darkness and hope to the hopeless.

Bro John."

Praise the Lord for what He is doing through brother John's ministry to the less privileged people in Nigeria -- widows and prisoners.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in January to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For all He did in our lives in 2024, for bringing us safely into the New Year, and for all He has in store for us in 2025.
  2. For the wonderful testimonies of our DTS students, including the miraculous help of an angel that brother Henry received in 2021.
  3. For the new students from South Sudan.
  3. For the Lord to heal Faith from her cold.
  4. For the Lord to heal sister Amani, and give her a healthy pregnancy.
  5. For the Lord to help all our students in their studies.
  6. For the Lord to provide discipleship partners for our DTS students that are in need of one for the Life Transformation Group (LTG).
  7. For the Lord to provide for all the needs of our DTS students and graduates.
  8. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  9. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  10. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.
