February Update -- 2025

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.

Family: We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary in February by taking a little time away together for a couple days at an Inn located not far from where we live. That was the first getaway we've taken for our anniversary since we've been back in the States.

Joseph was healed from the cold that he had last month, but then he and Christopher both got sick again this month with a cold. Please pray for a full recovery for him and Christopher, and that the Lord will keep Jennifer from getting sick with the cold they have, as she seems to be resisting it.

Joseph turned 16 years old in February, so we sang Happy Birthday to him and prayed for him. But since he was and still is sick, he decided to postpone his birthday party until he's feeling better. So we're hoping to celebrate that next week on Tuesday. On Joseph's birthday, Len also celebrated his 39th spiritual birthday since coming to know Jesus in 1986. Praise God for another year of His faithfulness and keeping power.

Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.

Sister Catherine, our student in England, finished her DTS studies this month, and will be graduating next month. Here is what she had to say about it:

"Dear brother Len and sister Jennifer,

Now that I have nearly completed the Doulos Training School studies, I have had my mind completely renewed from growing up in Churches that teach a watered down gospel. I have learned all about the true gospel through these wonderful studies, and I have grown a lot in our Lord.

So now I am more prepared to teach and witness to the lost, and to other Christians who still live in the 'ideal' of the watered down gospel. Some people are asking me questions that I am now able to answer with the true gospel.

Len prayed over me a few times for healing of my stomach, which has been healed, and a bad cough that I had is also healed, so I thank him and our Lord for this wonderful Doulos Missions International Ministry.

I trust our Lord that through him and the Holy Spirit, that I will be a successful witness to the lost and continue in the will of God. I am eternally grateful. Many Thanks. May your Doulos Missions grow and bless many people in the future. I am praying for you all. Bless you all.

With Love in Jesus Christ our Lord,

Sister Catherine."

Praise the Lord for helping her complete her three years of training. What an amazing accomplishment! We have watched her grow in the Lord and watched the Lord using her in greater ways than ever before. It's obvious that the Lord has wonderful plans for her life that she has now been equipped for.

In March, one of our former students in Kenya, brother Stanley, will be returning to finish his studies. He had taken time off from the DTS due to living in a Muslim village with electrical power issues where he was teaching in a school. He has recently been married, and is now ready to resume his training with us. So we are looking forward to having him back.

Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in February to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.

In closing, we have much to praise God for, and many opportunities for you to join us in prayer.

Praise the Lord with us for the many answers to prayer:
  1. For His faithfulness in our marriage, enabling us to celebrate 28 years together.
  2. For the wonderful testimony of sister Catherine about what the Lord has done in her life to equip her for works of service that He has prepared for her to do.
  3. For the opportunity to assist each of our students in becoming disciples of Christ and fulfilling their callings.
  4. For the Lord's leading, guidance, wisdom, and help administering the Doulos Training School (DTS), and for the progress the students are making.
Prayer needs:
  1. For the Lord to help Christopher to find an excellent, well-paying job in the IT field, as well as help him with all of his many responsibilities.
  2. For the Lord to heal Christopher's fingers completely with no pain or loss of feeling.
  3. For the Lord to heal Joseph and Christopher from a cold, and keep Jennifer from catching it.
  4. For the Lord to help all our students in their studies.
  5. For the Lord to provide discipleship partners for our DTS students that are in need of one for the Life Transformation Group (LTG).
  6. For the Lord to provide for all the needs of our DTS students and graduates.
  7. For the Lord to continue multiplying disciples through all of our students and graduates.
  8. For the Lord to give us wisdom and assist us with the administration of the Doulos Training School (DTS), as well as develop through it many disciples who multiply disciples.
  9. For the Lord to fulfill His purposes for us and our ministry.
Thank you so much for your partnership in this ministry.

with love from all of us,

The Lacroixs
