Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We're pleased to share with you the wonderful things the Lord has been doing in our lives and ministry.
Family: As we begin the New Year, we believe that we're in the end times and we must stay close to the Lord. The Scripture says that there must be a great falling away (apostasy) in the last days before the Lord returns, and we don't want to be deceived by the enemy into being a part of that. We know you don't either. So let's all draw close to the Lord and seek His face.
Joseph and Faith were very sick with colds, but the Lord has been healing them, and they are better now, but Faith is still symptomatic. Praise the Lord! Please pray for a full recovery for Faith.
Ministry: As we continue to administer our discipleship training school (DTS), now in its ninth year, we'd like to update you on the good things that God is doing with it. By the grace of God, we currently have disciples in four nations including Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.
Brother Henry, who is one of our graduates in South Sudan, as well as our National Facilitator there, shared the following testimony with Len in January:
"Dear bro Len,
In 2021, I was invited to preach in a state called Yambio, which is in the western equatorial part of South Sudan. It's a bit far from Juba, so the team that wanted me to go there sent the money for booking the flight to their friend in Juba to book it for me. He communicated the dates and time, but yet he used the money, and didn't book at all. The time came, I went to the airport, and the following day the conference and crusade was arranged. When I reached there ready to travel, my name was not in the list of those traveling. I was confused. I wanted to leave immediately, but in my spirit I said, 'No, let me wait.'
People started boarding, and after they had all entered the plane, a man came and greeted me. He asked if I was pastor Henry. I said, 'Yes.' I asked for his name, and he told me he is called Paul. I asked if he was working with South Supreme company, and he said, 'Yes.' Then he held my hand and made me to enter. I had not received even the boarding pass, my name is not on the list, and I didn't pay any money.
We reached our destination, and they started collecting the boarding pass, but I didn't have one. They questioned me how I entered. I told them one person called Paul allowed me in. They checked, tried to call the head office, but they didn't have any worker by the name of Paul. They decided to let me go because I was going for the work of God.
When I was reading about how angels manifest to us, I immediately remembered this [experience], and I believe that must have been an angel of God that came to my rescue, because everybody was calling me, [asking], 'Are you coming [to the crusade]?', I really give God the glory."
Wow! Praise the Lord for sending His angel to help brother Henry board a plane without a ticket and fly to his destination to preach the gospel in South Sudan. That was truly a miracle. It reminds me of the angel named Paul that helped our student Catherine in England when she was lost as a youth. You can read about that here.
In January, Len received the following email from sister Amani, one of our new students in South Sudan:
"Dear bro Len,
I have been getting dreams when I am preaching, telling people Jesus is coming, turn away from your sins, the time is now. This has happened to me many times, and one time I shared with a friend what I was going through, but she only asked me if I am a pastor or want to be a pastor. Another time I got a dream, [in which] there was a pit in front, people had lined up moving towards that pit. They were all moving while dancing and celebrating, but [unaware] where they were going; they were all going to perish in that deeper pit. I was shouting at them, 'Stop, you are going to die,' but none of them listened. Others started falling into the pit, but still others were coming. I woke up from the dream like it was a reality, [with] too much fear inside me. I just prayed about it and slept again.
Sister Amani."
Praise the Lord for the dreams He has been giving to sister Amani, including this one about people needlessly falling into the pit of hell, while remaining oblivious that it's there until it's too late. Please remember her in prayer for healing from pain, bleeding, and dizziness that she has been having in her pregnancy. The doctors do not believe the baby is in danger.
In January, Len also received the following email from brother Isaac in South Sudan, who's a new student in the DTS.
"Dear bro Len,
I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope my mail finds you well.
I was much transformed since I joined DTS, in terms of my prayer journal, spiritual growth, discovering my purpose for God, and understanding His mystery. l also thank God for transforming individuals, partners, families, and societies with the LTG formed.
Yours faithfully,
Bro Isaac."
Praise the Lord.
Brother John in Nigeria, who is one of our DTS graduates and a pastor there, sent in the following New Year's testimony recently:
"I am truly grateful for the incredible journey that God has placed before me in my ministry efforts to reach out to ageing widows and prisoners with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, I felt a strong calling to begin my outreach with the ageing widows and some less privileged individuals in our community.
"To show them the love and compassion of Christ, I prepared delicious rice and beans with assorted dried fishes, a simple yet heartfelt meal that brought smiles and joy to their faces. It is my sincere belief that through these acts of kindness, we can reflect the love of Jesus and provide comfort to those who often feel forgotten.
"I would like to express my profound gratitude to DTS for the impactful teachings and training on how to make disciples. Their guidance has been instrumental in shaping my approach to ministry, equipping me with the tools needed to effectively share the gospel and nurture others in their faith journey.
"May God continue to prosper DTS and bless their efforts in equipping others to fulfill the Great Commission. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve, bringing light to the darkness and hope to the hopeless.
Bro John."
Praise the Lord for what He is doing through brother John's ministry to the less privileged people in Nigeria -- widows and prisoners.
Len also sent out the Old News That's Still Fresh in January to pastors, elders, disciples, and laborers in the harvest in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. We encourage you to read it also.
